Spunk Pro -- 11.16.06

Spunk Pro 11.16.06 (Newton Rec Center - Newton, MA -- 788 fans)

Yet another fantastical night of fantastic fighting from Spunk Pro! Things started off hot and heavy as the young Ken Hunt gets a first huge victory in Spunk Pro tapping out Lee Stone, the big man with an Argentine Backbreaker in an absolute feat of strength! The Sexual Deviantz took it to Bobo Gomez and Hector Casas, as Banga picks up another big win with the Banga Bomb on Gomez! It looks like another name is emerging in the Spunk Pro International Title hunt! VIOLENCE took on OdZ, when Shogo was forced to find a partner, Ti'en was there for him as we got a heated contest between the two, with Shogo tapping out Power CHUCK with the Shogo MAX II!

Thomas R. Fiero was in singles action here tonight, against the tough as nails Brad Wolf in a hard-fought bout. Wolf put his all into the match, knowing this could push him over the hump and put him into title contention, but Fiero was able to overcome him with an array of dirty tactics. It was finally the Rockin' Kick that put Wolf out, with Fiero getting the big win, setting himself up to challenge Spunk for the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship! A main event has been set up with Alabama Dan and Hobo Joe challenging Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker for the Spunk Pro tag titles. Sean, Paddy and Seamus gave a hearty laugh, as Seamus told them if one of them could defeat one of the Celtic Bruisers here tonight, they would get a shot. Alabama Dan offered himself up, leaving the Bruisers rock-paper-scissors in the ring, only to turn into a shoving match. The WTST look on sort of confused as we now have a shoving match, and oh lord, a headbutt face off! They are going back and forth headbutting each other, and Sean with a low blow, pushing Baker out of the ring, and Sean turns to Dan, charging at him as the bell rings! What we were then treated to was just an all-out sick brawl. Tooth and nail, back and forth, it was nothing short of brutal and breath-taking before Alabama Dan takes the huge upset victory with the Go 2 Alabama!

SPUNK PRO HOUSE SHOW MANIA! Goat Banga picks up what seemed like a fluke win over the HOSS Bobo Gomez. Needless to say, he you know, won. Shogo Otsuka took it to OdZ member Power CHUCK, sending a message to DEMOS reversing a lariat into a Shogo MAX Cross, refusing to let go after he tapped, and forcing the doctors to rush out and attend to CHUCK. At this point we cut to backstage, where the RUSSIANS, our tag champs are shown staring at a bottle of vodka, when Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker walk up behind them. The Russians act like they had been drinking all night when Baker laughs and calls them all pussies, saying they couldn't outdrink a little girl. Supercomrade takes acception to this claiming he "vonce out drank ze entire land of Scott." This caused the Irishmen to laugh heartily, and challenge them to a drink-off. The Russians looked pensive, but took the bait. The Irishmen quickly outdrank the tag champs, and lured them into a tag team title bout later tonight!

We cut now to Strike Force facing off against Manakuro Marakuso and his pupil, Ken Hunt. It was a back and forth contest, until Ken Hunt shocks the world and pins Lee Stone, the big tough Stone with a spear! Now we get the RUSSIANS stumbling to the ring with the tag titles, as Seamus McFadden grabs the mic and introduces the NEXT Tag Team Champions, the Celtic Bruisers -- Paddy Baker and Sean Gabriel! What we got next was a brutal beating from the Bruisers, with Aris fighting back, while Supercomrade can barely stand. Paddy Baker finishes off Supercomrade with an inverted tombstone to crown NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Hey, another title match! YUSUKE, the Spunk Pro International Champion faced off with WRESTLE WARS supporting actor Captain Kickass in what was a grueling bout! YUSUKE fought with a burning passion, which overcame Kickass with a Shining Triangle. As YUSUKE celebrates, Jonas McKidd sneaks to the ropes and springboards in, lariating young YUSUKE, then spitting on the Spunk Pro International Championship! BASTARDS!

1. Goat Banga (17:10 - Banga Bomb) Bobo Gomez
2. Shogo Otsuka (14:27 - Shogo MAX Cross) Power CHUCK
3. Manakuro Marakuso/Ken Hunt(O)(36:14 - Spear) Strike Force (Brad Wolf/Lee Stone(X))
4. Spunk Pro Tag Championship: Celtic Bruisers (Sean Gabriel/Paddy Baker(O)) (21:40 - Inverted Piledriver) RUSSIA (Aris/Supercomrade(X))

Spunk Pro - Dia De Los Muertos

Spunk Pro - Dia De Los Muertos (11.1.06) Spunk Pro Arena (1200 fans)

Spunk Pro thumbs its nose at Halloween, as instead it runs Dia De Lose Muertos from Spunk Pro Arena! While this card isn't as stacked as the usual Spunk Pro Arena card, it still features a very UNMODEST amount of awesomeness. Fans were treated to Strike Force and the Deviantz putting on an uncharacteristically good match. Pete Batfarti was wearing a mouthpiece with the Blimpie logo on it, and looked hazy in the ring, leading to Brad Wolf picking the big dude up and dropping him on his head. Judas X met with the monster 001, and walked away with his arm raised in victory, but not without help from Imago X. The Rock Bottom finished him off, as 002 sprinted to ringside to stop the beating that was following said victory. Imago gets laid out by a chokeslam from 001, while 002 tiger drivers Judas, then he eats a chokeslam and is dragged to the back on 001's shoulder.

Following up to the last show, Mr. T will be teaming up with Havok against the Hollywood team of Johnny Jett and Billy Hollywood. Much to everyone's surprise, Jett goes over Mr. T clean with the Idolizer (Superkick)! Havok was predisposed on the outside with Billy Hollywood and "Dangerous" Lou Hoffman, beating the ever-living shit out of both of them. Mr. T looks shattered after this, as Johnny Jett grabs a mic and screams at him, telling him his friends have all abandoned him, and now he is just a shell of his former self. He then makes a cryptic comment about Mr. T "coming clean" and telling everyone the "truth." No clue. This brings us to backstage, Jesus X is storming down the hall with Imago in toe, looking furious, when they stumble upon 001 and 002 with Judas. Judas is bound to the wall, a bloody mess, with a logo written on his chest in blood. Jesus and Imago pull 002 and 001 off of him, and a scuffle ensues, as 002 laughs and claims this wasn't them, it was "him." Jesus looks at him puzzled, only to be turned around by a dark figure, and have mist spit in his face before all hell breaks loose, and we do not get a good view of who it was.

The Spunk Pro Jr Championship was on the line next, as the newly crowned WWA Light Heavyweight Champion DEMOS takes on Wataru Araya, long time Spunk Pro Jr Champion in what was a fast-paced bout. Wataru fought hard, but OdZ at ringside was too much to overcome, as RUINER used his cast again to knock Wataru into a Pedigree -> SIDS Clutch for the 3! DEMOS is the new hero! DEMOS is a double champion! RUINER in the ring now as CHUCK holds Araya, he is going to clock him with the cast again -- WAIT! SHOGO OTSUKA! URAKEN ONTO RUINER'S ARM! Otsuka clears the ring out, except for DEMOS, who turns around with a belt in each fist and stares down Otsuka. They are right in each other's face, as DEMOS holds up his belts, Shogo goes for the uraken -- DEMOS ducks! DEMOS goes for the mist -- Shogo holds his hands in front of his face! Shogo lunges at him as DEMOS bails out of the ring, belts in hand, holding them up as he stares down the former champion. INTENSE. In the vein of intensity, Spunk and YUSUKE faced off in the biggest match so far in the WRESTLE WARS invasion, as Tommy and Jonas actually stepped into the ring, the former Silver Bullet Express, now calling themselves the Silver Screen Express had nowhere to run, but had their henchmen at ringside. The heat was molten for this, as the fans were all over the Wrestle Wars team's every move. Spunk scores the win by threatening to break Jonas's leg with a hiza juji, forcing him to tap out. This wasn't the end of this encounter, though, as Thomas had CUT!!s for all to go around, and the Wrestle Wars goons made it into the ring. The show ends with Thomas ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Fiero holding the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship up high, while Jonas grabs the Spunk Pro International Championship and holds that up, as the fans are littering the ring with garbage. BOO! HISSS!

10.26.06 - Spunk Pro HOUSE SHOW MANIA!

Spunk Pro - 10.26.06 - Mickey Stevens Sports Complex, Warwick, RI (433 fans)

Spunk Pro brings you another somewhat awesome house show! The Spunk Pro Jr Champ Wataru Araya had a tuneup match to prep for his upcoming title defense against DEMOS as he demolished El Portero (poor lil Messican). Lester Bourbon, sporting Hogan-esque tights and a 'Bourbonmania' shirt teamed with Bobo Gomez to go to a wild 45 minute draw with STRIKE FORCE. The Ministry took out the Machines when Judas used a Regal Stretch on 002, as Jesus X looked on quite pleased and taunted 001 afterwards. Mr. T came back with a vengeance as he fought Johnny Jett's Agent; Billy J. Hollywood, Esq in what turned out to be a great match. Mr. T looked more on form than he had been in months, as he KO's Hollywood with the BAD! After the match Johnny Jett attacked him from behind, with DANGEROUS Lou Hoffman helping him. When Billy came to he started as well, when out of NOWHERE (seriously guys, nowhere at all!) Havok hit the ring! Havok and Mr. T drove off Team Hollywood, then as a show of respect shook hands. Our main event saw the Spunk Pro team of Vio-Gun square off with the Wrestle Wars team of Biff Mongo and Red Coogan. Spunk took the big man down with a stiff lariat, in a measure of revenge from last week's TV show as we end this show on a high note, sending the fans home HAPPY.

10.24.06 - Spunk Pro House Show

Spunk Pro - 10.24.06 - Hartford Municipal Gymnasium (Hartford, CT -- 544 fans)

Spunk Pro ran a house show in CT tonight, which was quite an event. The fans were treated to a night of intense Spunk Pro action, as well as Sean Gabriel defending his WILD International Championship against the young upstart Ken Hunt. Hunt held out and Gabriel had to fight off 3 spears before he had to use a low blow and a cradle for the win. The VIOLENCE team picks up a huge win over the former tag champs the WTST, with Hobo Joe going down for the second time in the past few shows, and Spunk came out and challenged any of the Wrestle Wars goons to come out and face him, and a GOON he got in Biff Mongo. Biff's brawling slowed Spunk up a bit, but Spunk absolutely demolished him before using an uranage -> choke sleeper for the win.

1. Havok (7:42 - Blackout) El Portero
2. OdZ (DEMOS/Power CHUCK/MAX(O)) (22:23 - MAX Facelock) Young Dragons (Wataru Araya/Travis Wilkes/Tom Johnson(X))
3. WILD International Championship: Sean Gabriel (C) (16:56 - Low Blow -> School Boy) Ken Hunt

*Note; I've been extremely strapped for time. Excuse the brevity of this, but I just felt compelled to get something, anything up.*

Tonight was a huge night for Spunk Pro wrestling, making its New York City debut in a stuffy building that ROH runs in once in a while. A few fans passed out, citing lack of airflow because the building is a giant balloon, but we don't really care. Thomas Fiero and his lackey-bastards from the Wrestle Wars team were in the lobby passing out WRESTLE WARS memorabillia cups of water to help out the fans, attempting to win them over. Biff Mongo was running around trying to hype the fans up, and ended up looking like a fucking tool most of the time. It would be an understatement to say that most of these cups of water ended up on Mongo, Coogan and Kickass. Fiero grabbed a cameraman and said tonight he'd face the toughest man he could find in Spunk Pro, a champion, a true legend, and that he'd grace the Spunk Pro ring with his amazing prescence. Then some kid threw a cup at his head.

The first few matches went as advertised, proving to be tough contests and really keeping the fans energized and getting them to 'feel' the show. Can ya feel dat? Mr. T faced off with the thorn in his side; Johnny Jett, coming out alone. Bobo Gomez no longer swearing affiliation to him, and Lester nowhere to be found. Mr. T dominated Jett, with Jett only getting a few cheap shots in here and there, but Mr. T's overwhelming strength and emotion kept him firmly in charge. Mr. T finally was going for a powerbomb on the already ravaged Johnny Jett when Jett flipped over, and in a scene that reminded fans of Dante Black/Lord Vermin, Jett flipped over into a sunset flip, and after taking a tremendous beating scored the 1, 2, 3 on Mr. T! After the match, Jett had a run-in with Thomas R. Fiero (AKA -- THE RAT) backstage, with the Jet Girls on each arm, and Billy Hollywood following close behind, in a smart looking skirt/suit jacket ensemble. Yeah, I don't know.

Johnny Jett offered his hand to Fiero, and said he 'feels for him' and would love to 'do lunch' sometime. The Jet Girls were all over Fiero, who looked quite pleased at this, as Billy Hollywood, who introduced himself as "B. J. Hollywood, Esquire" offered a business card to Fiero. Jett expressed an interest in a 'joint project' between himself and Fiero, saying he thought VWA was 'cute' and would love to work on having Fiero produce his 'Untitled Johnny Jett Rock-U-Mentary' on his life and quest to being a heavyweight champion film star. Yeah, what? On the otherside of the arena, apparently Mr. T stormed out, dejected and rambling.

The Russians aren't coming, they are here! Supercomrade knocks out Hobo Joe to capture the Spunk Pro tag championship in what was a very surprising turn of events. What we got next, was a treat for fans of brawls as Paddy Baker defended his Mid-Continental Championship against his rival, Sean Gabriel. What we got was a sick, 20+ minute brawl, with Gabriel busting Baker open with a few sick headbutts mid-way through the match. After it became clear to both men the other wasn't going to go down easily, frustration began to grow. In their past encounters we've seen Gabriel already wrestling in the night, and then taking on a fresh Paddy Baker and losing in over 30 minutes in what was a classic in SECW. Then we saw Baker get knocked out of the ring with Gabriel getting a count out victory that he seemed less than pleased with. At the 23 minute point Gabriel dragged Baker to the outside, grinding his bloody head along the guard rail, then slugging him a few times in the forehead. The ref is counting as Gabriel has a Camel Clutch on Baker!! He is trying to wear Baker down and I guess forcibly get him counted out?! What is he thinking? Baker is biting Gabriel's hand! Gabriel is screaming out as he lets go, both men standing up as Baker is still biting! Gabriel with a thumb to the eye! He goes to whip Baker into the rail, Baker reverses with a drop toe hold that drops Gabriel throat-first onto the barrier! 17... 18... Baker up, and he dashes into the ring as Gabriel grasps for air.... 19... Gabriel jumps for the apron and is trying to claw himself in, as Baker is calling for him to come on... 20! Gabriel has been counted out!

A huge, heated 6-man tag is slated to be our main event -- Vio-Gun, YUSUKE, Shogo and Spunk facing off with the Wrestle Wars team of Captain Kickass, Red Coogan and Biff Mongo. The fans are all over the Wrestle Wars team, as the Spunk Pro team is fighting their hearts out. Wyatt McKidd and Thomas R. Fiero stuck their noses into the match, causing enough of a distraction to have Shogo get peppered with rights and lefts from Kickass and to set up the Kodiak Clutch for the tap out! The two teams didn't stop there, as they brawled about the arena, amidst the chaos, Fiero makes his way into the ring, and announces his opponent, a champion, a legend, a true warrior -- FPN Undisputed Champion, Dink... Dink!? What.. the.. This little fucking rat, does he think this is funny? GLASS BREAKS! Dink is out, bah gawd capri suns in hand as he is trying to break one open, and Mongo from behind with a hockey stick! He drags the 15 year old into the ring, and Fiero is just playing around with him as we call for the bell. Dink is fighting back with his childish redneck fury, but Fiero proving to be a foil to this! The 6 men are still brawling around ringside, as Fiero is shouting to Wyatt to make sure he is getting the "American Beauty shot" of Dink, whatever the hell that means! Tommy Fie-err.. Thomas fucking R. Fiero is mugging for the camera, he turns around -- STUNNER! STUNNER! BAH GAWD STUNNER! HE NAILS IT! BACK STYLE PIN! 1!!! 2!! 2.999!! Dink going up top for the w@nToN b@mBe!! Wyatt up on the apron, shaking the ropes as Fiero gets up, Dink is wobbly! YUSUKE with a kneel kick taking Wyatt down, but he hits the ropes! dink goes flying! FIERO CATCHES HIM WITH A FUCKING ACE CRUSHER IN MID AIR!! THE CUT!!! He makes a cocky cover! 1!!! 2!! 3!! FIERO JUST STOLE ONE! FIERO JUST STOLE A PIN ON A POOR, DEFENSELESS BOY! THIS IS PATHETIC! He is standing over him, foot on his chest as his camera crew focuses on him doing the "Titanic" pose on Dink's chest, as the arena around him has broke into absolute chaos!

...While we hate him, this ending is somewhat metaphoric! DAMN THIS PRETENTION TO HELL! THIS IS PRO-WRESTLING, NOT POST-MODERN FICTION!

2. Brad Wolf (20:07 - Powerslam) Bobo Gomez

Spunk Pro 10.4.06 - RI Indoor Sports Arena (1,233 fans)

Welcome folks to a hot night of SPUNK PRO WRESTLING ACTION! As always, we here at Spunk Pro are here to deliver the hottest pro-wrestling action to you, the fan of professional wrestling as the Spunk Pro International Championship is up for grabs! The young supernova YUSUKE faces off against one of his 3 mentors; Manakuro Marakuso in what should be an epic bout. Marakuso the first ever Spunk Pro International champion, and last time we saw him he was tapping out to one of YUSUKE's jujigatames! On top of that we have Jesus X facing off with 001's new partner, 002, Bobo "T" Gomez facing off against the UNDEFEATED HAVOK and a hell of a lot more here from Spunk Pr--OH WHAT THE HELL! Its that rat-fink-wolf-bastard Tommy Fie-err.. THOMAS R. FUCKING FIERO! What is he doing here? You'd think after what happened at the last show he'd know better, but there he is, megaphone in hand, on top of a moon-shaped stage shouting about the ECLIPSE invasion and the heroic Valiant Underground trying to sell tickets to that soon-to-be box-office flop 'Wrestle Wars!' There is Biff Mongo and some fucking Moon Robot Demon-thingy handing out fliers and free tickets to the premier! This humble reporter is proud to say Spunk Pro fans are taking acception to this, as the ones in the know seem to be ripping up the passes, but Captain Kickass, Red Coogan and a few other of his goons seem to be forcing these upon people.

Well, the first match is underway, as we cut away from the mob scene just outside the doors to the arena, we are told our security is trying to do something about this, but anyway... Ken Hunt faces off with Spunk in the opening match, a rare chance for a Young Dragon to get a chance to face the champion, and Spunk looks pissed! Wait, we are just getting word now that D has shown up tonight with his arm in a sling, that his shoulder was torqued by Captain Kickass's Whatever-the-hell-he-wants-to-call-it Clutch last show! Doctors have told him he has a torn tendon in his shouler and blew out his rotator cuff. Spunk is fighting with a fire tonight against this young guy, as he is just beating the shit out of him! Hunt in the corner and Spunk is continually kicking him in the face, and the ref has called for the bell... Hunt is in a bloody heap, as Spunk holds the title up, calls out Fiero and grabs a towel to help clean up the young Hunt as he helps him to his feet and raises his hand. But you gotta wonder what is going through his mind, as he knows Fiero and his goons are just outside the door, and that his young protege is out for god know's how long!

Next up we have Bobo "T" Gomez facing off against the undefeated machine Havok! Wait, is that... Seamus McFadden!? In stripes. God, I know stripes are supposed to be flattering to fat people, but McFadden looks like an overstuffed, stumpy, balding zebra with a green belt. This is just embarassing, as he is apparently imposing his will on the WWA officials and claiming the former commisioner of Pro-Wrestling WILD. Wait a minute, Bobo "T" Gomez is coming out in his old attire, the blue jeans and torn prison shirt, no gold chains.. Whats going on here? Bobo corrects our esteemed announcer, Asstaco that he is no longer Bobo "T" Gomez, but simply Bobo Gomez! What the... Hell, Havok attacks from behind! Half Nelson suplex connects! What followed was a brawl that tore the house down, Bobo Gomez reverting to his former smashmouth style, with less of a focus on the suplexes and saving youth centers. Sorry YMCA, fuck off its hobo smashin' time! Bobo seems to be building up to finishing him off with the Muso, but Havok is just too tough. Its rights and lefts, suplexes and other insanity as we are building to a head here! Bobo fighting off the Blackout, and Havok turning the Muso into a few well-placed elbows to the head. Gomez with a nasty series of chops, as Havok is just taking it -- NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB! And He looks for the cover, but seems too tired to make it... McFadden pulls him over! 1! 2! 3! fast count! Its over! McFadden raises Havok's hand, as he looks on in disbelief. It looks like he is willing to take this though, as he staggers up and looks down at Bobo and smiles, McFadden raising his hand. McFadden offers him his hand, and he takes it! The crowd is all over him, bah gawd has he made a deal with the devil!?

We'll give you a report on those bastards from I guess what was the VWA, if that really was at all anywhere near real, the Hollywood bastards. They are still there, arguing with security, causing a near-riot on the outside! The police are coming out there and asking them to leave... This is not pretty, well, back to the arena! Its not worth giving these guys TV time! The Young Guns of Tom Johnson and the Spunk Pro Jr Champ Wataru Araya face off with OdZ's Power CHUCK and DEMOS! DEMOS wants Wataru, Wataru wants to keep his respect and his title, but he can't sit back anymore and let DEMOS run wild -- it has to stop. DEMOS and CHUCK really take it to these young guys, as RUINER watches, with his cast on his arm. A sickening crack is heard later on in the bout as CHUCK and DEMOS distract the ref and RUINER cracks Araya over the head with his cast! It looks like he is out! DEMOS applies a surfboard of sorts, and CHUCK is wailing away on him, the ref steps in and it looks like he is out! Giant pull apart ensues now as the Young Guns and OdZ face off, we have officials out here to restore order. Next up Jesus X earned a tough-fought victory over the newcomer 002. This match was to deliver a message to 001 that he was ready to reap his revenge on him! It was 2 Final Cuts followed by the Sign of the X that finished him off. Jesus X feigned like he was going to tear his mask off, but 001 made the save, which brought out more officials (lots of them tonight, apparently) and 001 absolutely decimated them! Chokeslams for all! Jesus X is backing off as Judas and Imago are helping him to the back.

This leads us to the reason we have a packed house here -- the main event! Manakuro Marakuso's challenge for the Spunk Pro International Championship, challenging his young pupil in his first defense! What we saw was nothing less than an astonishing display of matwork and heart. Marakuso starts the match off dominating the former amatuer-wrestler YUSUKE on the mat, while young YUSUKE attempts to regain control. Marakuso's arm is wrapped up from the armbar the other night, which apparently really hurt him. This was the opening he needed, as a wakigatame catches him and puts him in a bad way! The rest of the match is worked around Marakuso trying to recompose himself while YUSUKE tries to rip his mentor's arm apart bit by bit. Marakuso trying to make his comeback with a series of leg kicks and he goes for the enzuiguri -- ducked! YUSUKE with a juji! Juji! He has it locked in, but Marakuso makes it to the ropes! The fans are going wild for this hot SPUNK PRO ACTION, as both men make their way to their feet. YUSUKE with a series of right and left shoudas, a few mid-kicks and a knee to Marakuso's face! Marakuso is going down, but YUSUKE catches him - MAXIMUM GERMAN SUPLEX!! 1........ 2...........2.999999! YUSUKE floats over -- hizajujigatame! He has him in the knee bar, but Marakuso rolls into it and has his shoulders down!! 1!! 2!! NO! The fans are roaring now, as Marakuso is calling for the finish.. He has him in a Cobra Twist, and takes him to the mat!! 1!!! 2!! YUSUKE GETS THE JUJI LOCKED IN!! This has to be it! This has to be it! Marakuso is screaming out in pain as he has it fully extended, this has to be it! The fans are going nuts, and Marakuso cuts back into a cradle! 1! 2! NO! The roof is about to blow off of the RI Indoor Sports Arena! Marakuso looking to lock in the Dragon Sleeper, but YUSUKE with a few kicks to the temple! He lets go, staggers up as YUSUKE rushes at him, looking for the YU-Bomber, he ducks, goes behind! Full nelson applied, he is going for the Dragon Suplex! YUSUKE won't go up, he is fighting it, but he has him almost over! Elbows him in his bad arm! He drops him -- OVERHEAD KICK! YUSUKE quickly floats over and applies the jujigatame! Marakuso tries to fight it, but there is nowhere to go! He taps! He taps! YUSUKE retains! YUSUKE RETAINS!

YUSUKE and Marakuso stand together in the ring, Marakuso favoring his arm as he raises YUSUKE's hand, the ref presenting him the title! Tears fill YUSUKE's eyes, as he has defeated his mentor in a fantastic bout, proven his heart is full of gold! YUSUKE celebrates -- wait! WHAT THE -- FIERO!? FIERO IN THE RING! HE NAILS THE WHAMMY BAR, THE CUT!! WHATEVER THE HELL IT IS ON THE EXHAUSTED YUSUKE! YUSUKE down! Wait, some of his goons are around the ring with a camera! Jonas McKidd has a clip board with him as he is taking notes, and this is just disgusting! Coogan in the ring and he nails a backdrop on the exhausted Marakuso! McKidd in the ring as Tommy Fie-err, Thomas R. Fiero, that fucking rat fink piece of pretentious trash is out there barking orders, saying he wants it framed better! Framed better?! This is pro-fucking-wrestling, not some fucking film shoot! McKidd is laying the boots into YUSUKE, as he is repositioning him to Tommy's calls, Tommy is yelling something about Martin Scorsese, yelling he wants a 'Cape Fear' shot. CAPE FEAR!? THIS IS PRO-WRESTLING! THIS IS SPUNK PRO WRESTLING! SPUNK PRO! SPUNK -- ITS SPUNK! Spunk in the ring, he is cleaning house! Goes for a high kick on Jonas, but he rolls out of the ring. Spunk points at Tommy, he throws the Spunk Pro Championship down and points at it, and then at Tommy, and the fans are going wild! They want this to happen, they want Fiero to get his due! Tommy moves towards the ring, but then backs out, claiming he is an artist, not some layman. He gets on the mic and says he wants that title, saying it would make for a good hood ornament! That rat bastard! He is just using this industry, this industry that was built by the boys in the back and their respect for this business, he is using it to promote some shitty movie! Nobody wants to fight the champ, Spunk looks like he is leaving, and he catches a view of Kickass! Kickass blindsides him! It looks like we have an impromptu match underway! This is an all out brawl, with Fiero's guys on one side of the ring, and Spunk Pro guys on the otherside! Its a fuckin' lumberjack match of sorts! Spunk is just laying into Kickass here, letting out all of his agression on Kickass's face! Things are looking bleak, but Kickass gets him on theoutside, and Fiero and McKidd with the cheap shots on him! Wait! YUSUKE diving off the ring steps with a kneel kick taking them all out! Its all out havok (not the wrassler) in here! Fans are clawing at Fiero! Spunk back in, but he is hurt! Kickass with what looks like a loaded fist -- RIGHT TO THE FACE! Spunk is busted wide open here, and Kickass looks to be in firm control! Kickass with a Freedomplex! The Freedomplex on Spunk! 1!!!!! 2!!!!!! 2.9999! He barely gets out! The fans are going mental, the arena is going insane! Fiero is starting to try to flee again, but the fans aren't letting him go! Kickass with a series of rights and lefts on Spunk, he is going for another Freedomple it looks! Things look bleak! INSIDE CRADLE!! 1!!! 2!!! 3!! Spunk with the win! Spunk has defeated Kickass! Kickass looks like he just shit his pants, as Fiero is screaming at him that he ruined his shot! Spunk up and he nails Kickass with a kick to the head! Kickass goes down! Spunk dives out at Fiero! Both sides have converged and its mayhem at ringside! We gotta go, but this is insanity! YUSUKE just nailed Jonas McKidd with the camera! WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT TIME, GET THEM BASTARDS!

Spunk Pro - 9.26.06 - SPUNK PRO ARENA INVASION

Spunk Pro - 9.26.06 - Spunk Pro Arena (934 fans)

It was an eventful night in the Spunk Pro arena, as we have a scheduled MAIN EVENT Spunk Pro Championship match between Spunk and D, plus much much more! The show started off with DEMOS taking it to the young Hector Casas, making short work of him with a Pedigree -> SIDS Clutch. He was quick to call out Araya again, who didn't show yet again. DEMOS claimed when he finally go this hands on him, he'd destroy him and take his title. Johnny Jett once again proved himself in the ring, this time in a match with the former Spunk Pro International PHENOM, Bobo "T" Gomez. Jett took Gomez to the very limits, almost going a full 30 with the former champ. Both men let it all hang out, but the arrogant Jett finished off Bobo with a running stomp that he calls the Red Carpet Stomp and a quick pin for the 3. He called out Mr. T after the match, only for Mr. T to come out with Lester. There were words exchanged, only for Billy Hollywood to back up Jett, and whisper something in his ear. This led to Jett dropping a bomb onto the Spunk Pro Arena fans; he claims that Mr. T is indeed NOT REALLY MR. T. The arena went dead silent, as Mr. T stood with his fists clenched. Lester looked at Mr. T in disbelief, and slowly backed away as Mr. T did his best to explain to him. DRAMA!

The VIOLENCE team of YUSUKE and Shogo Otsuka met up with their mentor Marakuso and his new pupil Ken Hunt in what was a great tag team contest. YUSUKE really took it to Marakuso, as he wanted to send a clear message to his mentor that he was ready for his challenge. It took the arena by surprise when YUSUKE reversed a Ground Cobra Twist into a jujigatame for the Spunk Pro head trainer and President to be forced to tap out to the young sensation! The two shook hands, as Marakuso pointed to the title that he made popular in Spunk Pro's infancy, and motioned that next time he'd come out victorious.

The Red Scare has officially hit Spunk Pro, as Aris the MONSTER from Communist Russia took it to Hobo Joe. It was a scary sight to behold as he tossed Joe around like a rag doll before locking in the Iron Claw, slamming him down and holding it for the ref to stop the match. This caused a giant pull apart between the WTST DX (Dan/Joe/Dink) and the Nuevo Russians (Supercomrade/Shakin' Comrade/Aris), where blood was shed and Dink hit a few STUNNERZ~! After giving a ref a stunner he called for a Capri Sun, which he once again struggled with the straw, this time bending the straw, rendering it useless in the consuming of his delicious fruity juice blend, causing him to just tear it open with his teeth, spilling Capri Sun all over himself, which we were told sexually aroused Pete Batfarti who was watching in the back, oiling himself up (for god knows what reason, he wasn't booked at all) when officials found him.

This brings us to the co-main events, as Sean Gabriel defended his WILD International Championship against the contender Brad Wolf. It was as you'd imagine from the two a wild brawl, with Paddy Baker in his patented SHIRT looking on with a stern look on his face. Wolf is known for his rights and lefts, as well as his amatuer wrestling background. If anything, Wolf is a prototype pro-wrestler, with a boxing, wrestling and military background who can adjust to just about any situation. That being said, Sean Gabriel is, well, Sean Gabriel. Surly as he is crafty and sneaky, he made sure the bring the pain with the aid of Seamus at ringside. Seamus's cane came into play as Seamus distracted ref MDK and Sean clocked Wolf over the head with it. Much to his shagrin, Wolf kicks out and makes a rally! Rights, lefts, rights, lefts! Wolf is on fire! Wolf going for a reverse DDT on Sean, but Sean drops to his knees -- LOW BLOW! Wolf is staggering around holding his balls -- INSIDE CRADLE!! 1!! 2! 3!! GABRIEL JUST STOLE THAT ONE! Sean points to his head as he holds the title up high, then leaning over the ropes and exchanging words with Baker, who tried to jump the guard rail but was restrained by security, letting Sean spit on him and Seamus get a cheap shot in with his cane! Yeah, that was crazy.

This leads us to our main event of the ev... What? TOMMY FIE--ERR.. Thomas R. Fiero, with Wyatt and two thugs, Captain Kickass and Red Coogan sporting red and blue attired, pushing fans out of the way as Tommy Fie-err.. Thomas R. Fiero makes his way into the ring. Honestly, we feel no need to transcribe for you, the fan the shit spewing from Tommy Fie--errr... Thats Thomas R. Fiero's mouth, as it was all just mindless shill for his WRESTLE WARS film that is due out soon. The basic gyst is as all of you could guess, Tommy Fie--err, damnit! Thomas R. Fiero wants you to go see his new film, and believes that time would be much better spent watching his new film than watching some boring Spunk Pro Title match. The drama, the action, the sex, the violence in WRESTLE WARS should be enough to entertain, in his words, 'Even the most normal of Spunk Pro fans.' Needless to say, this brought out the champ. The crowd is livid now, as Spunk comes out wearing the title proudly and telling Fiero to get the fuck out of the Spunk Pro ring, unless he wants a fight. Tommy Fie--err GOD FUCKING DAMNIT! Thomas R. Fiero. Thomas R. Fiero replied that he'd bring it, then spit on the Spunk Pro Championship (OH NO YOU DIDNT!), which led Spunk to charge at him, only to be held back by the two hired goons in Kickass and Coogan. It was 4 on 1 on Spunk, with Tommy Fie--ERR, fuck. OK YOU KNOW HIS FUCKING NAME BY NOW, THOMAS R. FIERO GETTING IN CHEAP SHOTS ON THE CHAMP! Wait! Its D! D, the contender is out now, and Tommy Fier--err, fuck it! Tommy Fiero backs down like the pretentious pussy he is, taking his boy Wyatt with him, and it looks like we have an impromptu tag match on our hands! ECW! ECW! EC--err.. Yeah, no. The heat for this match was off the charts, as we saw what we thought was the impossible of the invaders taking out the win as Kickass uses the Super Combat Clutch on D for the tapout while Coogan has Spunk locked in a bearhug and Tommy, yes Tommy fucking Fiero, that rat is outside the ring peppering him with cheapshots! The match is over, but Kickass won't let go of the hold, nor will Coogan and Tommy and Wyatt are going to town on the champ! Somebody has to stop this! Wait! Its YUSUKE and Shogo! VIOLENCE! A backfist from Shogo takes Wyatt down! Tommy, Tommy that rat heads for the hills as YUSUKE kicks Kickass right in the fucking face, busting his nose! Kickass and YUSUKE going at it! Slaps vs fists! YUSUKE with a kneel kick and Kickass rolls to the outside as Coogan grabs him and they retreat! The fans are in a frenzy, a few have jumped the barriers and they are trying to hold Tommy Fie--errr, Thomas R. Piece of Shit Fiero back and destroy the whole gang, but security is doing their best here, and now the police are here to break this up! INSANITY!

WWA Round-Up - 9.20.06

Spunk Pro
In a press confrence today, Manakuro Marakuso announced at the next show Spunk will be defending the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship against his student, D. D had asked for a shot before, and after defeating Mr. T in a tag bout this week has proven to Spunk that he is deserving for a shot at the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship. This bout will take place on the newly printed Spunk Pro mat, and should be quite a contest.

Spunk Pro reporters caught up with YUSUKE, the new Spunk Pro International Champion who was in high spirits earlier in the week after his grueling bout with Bobo "T" Gomez. YUSUKE "feels strong" and "can't wait to prove he deserves this belt." He also claimed he would defend it against anybody and prove that he is ready to be a champion. When asked who he'd like to defend against, he said he'd like to meet the "four pillars" of his career -- Manakuro Marakuso, Ti'en Yangisawa, Shogo Otsuka and Spunk, the four men who had a hand in training him, as well as been mentors and friends to him. Marakuso quickly accepted and said they'd meet in the ring very soon. YUSUKE also said he'd like to prove he is the true ace of this generation, and would like to have a match with Eddie Swan, as well as issued a stern warning towards the Rude Boys, claiming Roodie's 'fluke' win over him a few weeks ago in WILD was nothing more than a fluke, and if Roodie would like to step up, he'd prove it.

Johnny Jett cut a quick interview, with the Jet Girls in tow, saying that he shocked the world going 60 along with his Hollywood advisor, Billy Hollywood against the legendary T-Team. He said that he will be facing the now former Spunk Pro International Champion, Bobo "T" Gomez, and that if Bobo wins, he'll call off the destruction of Mr. T and the T-Team. But if he wins, he will continue to prove to the world that The T-Team isn't what they say they are, especially Mr. T. Its unclear still what Jett is getting at, but from his debut performance it is clear that Jett is completely serious about his advance on Spunk Pro and the T-Team.

Evo-MAX

Reporters attempted to catch up to LRI, only to be scared off. Fat Lip careened by our reporters in his Benz, with Stuart Robinson and VD Dod aboard, with only the shouts of 'REVENGE!' being heard as they drove by. Clearly LRI are upset about losing their Trios titles to the Young Dragons at the debut Evo-MAX show.

OdZ members DEMOS and RUINER caught up with reporters, and kept it brief, with RUINER sporting his cast that he earned at the hands of Shogo Otsuka a few weeks ago in Spunk Pro, breaking his arm in 2 places. DEMOS kept it short, saying the WWA Light-Heavyweight Championship would be his, and that Jun Mochizuki will just be another stepping-stone to OdZ domination! He also called out Wataru Araya in the Spunk Pro ring, claiming unless he steps up and defends the Spunk Pro Junior Title against him, more innocent blood will be shed.

Interview with Sean Gabriel

"Hello folks, this is Matthew J. Haddes here with WILD International Heavyweight Champion Sean Gabriel and as always, Seamus McFadden," Haddes says as the scene fades up, him holding a WWA microphone as Gabriel stands wearing a leather jacket with the WILD International Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder. Gabriel adjusts the title as Seamus laughs and twirls his cane. "So, gentlemen, good to have you here..."

"Of course, the pleasure is indeed all ours," McFadden snarls. "I'd just like to say, on behalf of Sean Ga--"

"Bow out, Seamus," Sean says gravely, as he steps in front of Seamus and stares into the camera. "Paddy Baker." He clears his throat, as he stares intently into the camera. "Paddy bloody Baker!"

"What did you... Sean, my lad," Seamus stops as he stares at Sean.

"Seamus... This don't concern you," he continues staring into the camera. "This here is between Baker and me-self. Baker, you wanna come out and headbutt a bloke after having a grueling contest against the best SECW can offer?" He motions with his arms around him, the title sliding off his shoulder slightly, only for him to catch it and readjust it. "You want to come out and save the Mid-Continental Championship by finally defending that blood thing after sitting on it to fuck 'round with Moon Demons and Zombies?" Sean spits on the ground, then looks back into the camera. "Old man, you signed your bloody death warrant.

"I used to look up to you, used to watch you on the tele busting noses of yanks and makin' all us proud back in the homeland. Look at you now! Look at what you are now, just another bloody yank in green tights playing fuckin' World Defender against bloody martians and..."

"Moon Demons, actually the whole ECLIPSE emp..." Haddes buts in, only for Sean to give him a cold stare.

"I didn't blood well ask for any yank opinion on these here matters!" Haddes cowers as Sean looks back into the camera. "Now Paddy Baker is just some bloody bus driver kickin' back a few pints after a hard days work who got a call from some bloody yank to make a bloody mockery of our sport! You parading 'round with a title that used 'ta mean everything!" He pulls the title down and cradles it in his hands. "Now, now I got mah own bloody championship, one that has a history and prestige all its own! One that..."

"Prestige?" Haddes breaks in again, as Sean stares him down, Haddes cowers but continues. "People who've held that include William Shatner, deMun..."

"CAN YOU CUT THE SHIT WITH THE BLOODY MOON DEMONS ALREADY!? I don't bloody well care who held this before I did, what bloody hell matters is I hold it now and am the greatest champion the world has ever seen!" Sean is breathing heavily as Seamus places his hand on his shoulder.

"Sean, me lad," he raps him on the head with his cane. "Calm yourself, me laddie, we'll make a fool of him yet. Let me take care of everything."

"Oh, let you take care of everything? Why in the bloody hell should I after you let him attack me and hit me in the bloody face with his ugly mug?" Seamus is taken aback, as Sean brushes him off. "You know what I did after I lost to Paddy Baker on Sunday? Huh? Do ya?" Haddes cowers again as Sean gets in his face. "So you wanna know or what you bloody wanker?"

"Um.. Yes?"

"Of course you do!" He screams in his face, as tears start to flow down Haddes' rosey red cheeks. "I went out an' found the first bloody wrasslin' show I could find and beat the bloody hell outta whatever wanker I could find. I went to East Buttfuck Wrestling and..."

"East.. Buttfuck Wrestling!? Where the hell is that?" Haddes looks at him, confused.

"Right next to bloody West Buttfuck, christ! You yanks ain't got much in the way of brains now do ya? Where the bloody fuck would East Buttfuck be but next to West Buttfuck!" He sighs and shakes his head. "So I went an' beat the bloody pulp outta somebody, their best guy an' ripped his goddamned head off with my Emerald Busta."

"Ripped his head off?" Haddes questions.

"Ripped his bloody head off! They had to call the bloody ambulance to come an' sow it back on, only for me to punch it right the fuck off again! Paddy Baker! You think you can just jump right back in and prove you are a man, well Sean Gabriel is here to make you pay for all your bullshit an' show you what a real Irishm'n is! You got the balls you can come down to the next Spunk Pro show, where I'll beat the bloody pulp outta Brad Wolf and defend my title, the real title of the world, an' make an example in frontta your face!" He growls as he walks off, leaving Seamus and Haddes behind.

"Now if you'll excuse us," Seamus nods at Haddes, who nods back and smiles, only for Seamus to bop him on the head with the cane.

"Ow!"

Spunk Pro 9.17.06

Spunk Pro 9.17.06 - Knights of Columbus Hall (Warwick, RI -- 433 fans)

Spunk Pro ran a Sunday Night Rally at the Knights of Columbus Hall in scenic Warwick, RI, the fans crowded in and packed the building to capacity. There were whispers the show might get shut down due to over-filling the Hall, but apparently Marakuso took care of the fine visiting officers and our show started without a hitch. Havok gains a huge, huge, huge win over Brad Wolf, who has seemingly fallen on hard times of late, losing to YUSUKE and now to the machine, Havok. It was standard Havok fare of deadly fisticuffs, a few well placed suplexes and that Blackout Cobra Hold that sent Wolf to sleep. Travis Wilkes challenged DEMOS next, in a fun back and forth match that saw the fans all over DEMOS for his cheating wayz~! OdZ was at ringside, and the finish of the match saw RUINER nail Wilkes with his cast and DEMOS using the SIDS Clutch to put him away. DEMOS made a challenge to Wataru Araya, but Araya was not as this show, so OdZ just laid a beatdown into Wilkes until they grew tired of him, with DEMOS holding a bloodied Wilkes up to the camera and telling Araya that he is coming for him and his title, and this is what he has to look forward to.

The Walking Talking Stereotypes attained DELUXE levels tonight when Dink as DiNk Awz10 joined them to be the ultimate hillbilly team, as they faced off with the evil Komrades! Hobo Joe stuffed his hand down his pants and was apparently fondling himself, or collecting ball-sweat or something like that, then shoved his fingers down Super jewComrade's throat until he was forced to tap out. This only enraged Aris, who comes up from behind and nails a sick throwing German Suplex on him, which brings out the refs and officials to clean up this mess. Jesus and Imago made an open challenge to 001, claiming that Jesus wants to be through with him before he rises to the top again. In a weird change of events, 001 came out, as well as a man in a similar mask and a green/black bodysuit, whom we were informed calls himself 002. To say he made an impressive debut would be an understatement, as he unleashed a series of punches and suplexes that rivaled the best, and finished off Imago with a Cattle Mutilation!

Spunk teamed up with D to face the very stiff competition of the T-Team. Spunk had stated before the match whomever got the pinfall in this match would make a worthy contender for his Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship, so the incentive was there on all fronts. Mr. T once again was the victim, this time to D's lariat, as Lester looked furious at Mr. T for not tagging out again, as he saw this as a chance to rush at the title. Our main event saw the young sensation YUSUKE square off with another T-Team member, Bobo "T" Gomez, the long-reigning Spunk Pro International Champion, who will defend against YUSUKE. It was a brutal bout, with neither man pulling any punches (well, suplexes in Bobo's case, and shoudas in YUSUKE's). YUSUKE's offense didn't seem to be enough to really take Bobo down, as YUSUKE had to rely on his technique to take him down and twist his leg to the point of hyperextension, causing him to tap out, crowning YUSUKE the new champion!

YUSUKE was emotional after the match as he held the title up high, with Spunk coming into the ring to pose with him, as both champions celebrated in front of the crowd, sending them home extremely happy.

1. Havok (5:44 - Blackout) Brad Wolf

5. Spunk/D(O) (18:19 - Lariat) T-Team (Mr. T(X)/Lester "T" Bourbon)

9.13.2006

Spunk Pro - 9.12.06

Spunk Pro - 9.12.06 - Seekonk Memorial Hall, Seekonk, Ma. (2,066 fans - NO VACANCY)

Spunk Pro comes to you live from Seekonk, Mass with a stacked card, ready for your digesting pleasure! We have a packed show for you tonight, as we'll have a WILD International Championship defense as Sean Gabriel will defend against Lee Stone, on top of that we have an Evo-MAX Offer Battle Royal and Spunk will defend the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship for the first time against Alabama Dan in what should be a violent bout! The show starts off as Havok makes his Spunk Pro debut. Havok debuted in RevX and made an impact early on, as to this day he is undefeated in competition, and looks unstoppable! His first test in Spunk Pro is none other than the vet Goat Banga, and Havok showed more signs of struggle accordingly, as his first challenge seemed worthy. Goat Banga's deviant-like offense phased Havok a few times, but Havok's lethal rights and lefts, a pair of Half Nelson Suplexes and a Blackout was enough to score him his first victory in Spunk Pro, keeping his flawless record intact.

The next match was a battle royal which was offered by the new off-shoot of Evo-MAX, which focuses on high-octane pro-wrestling and has delivered in their first show! The competitors are a mix of established stars that Spunk Pro and WILD fans will be familiar with, as well as Fat Lip and the debut in Spunk Pro of a youngster from Mexico, Hector Casas. The match moved along quickly, as the ring began to empty out at the 10 minute mark, as youngster Tom Johnson ducked a flying lariat from Jun Mochizuki and backdropped him outside of the ring, eliminating him! Travis Wilkes pulled a book from Dink's playbook on him (while he is stomping around acting like Steve Austin) by using his Lightning Cradle to eliminate Dink early on. Dink didn't want to accept his defeat as the refs were pulling him out and in an act of rebellion gave ref MDK a STUNNz0R!!! He calls for the time keeper to toss him something -- is that a beer?!? Wait, that is a Capri Sun! Dink pulls the straw out and starts trying to jab it into the hole, unsuccessful (c'mon, its a fucking Capri Sun) before he just turns it upside down and jabs the straw into it, tips it upside down and squirts juice into his mouth! Soon after Fat Lip went on a spree, quickly dumping Tom Johnson over the ropes, and then pulling the ropes down on a charging Travis Wilkes to send him flying. DEMOS caught him and set him up for a Pedigree, but was too close to the ropes and ate a backbody drop that landed him in ELIMINATION STREET, USA (no relation to BADSTREET, USA, sadly). This left 3; Shogo Otsuka, Fat Lip and newcomer Hector Casas. Hector and Shogo teamed up on Fat Lip and after a battle was able to eliminate him, much to his shagrin! This leaves two! Shogo is quickly making short work of him with his strikes, as he sets him up near the ropes for a jumping backspin kick, which would most definately send him flying outside of the ring, only for Hector to duck under, leaving Shogo crotched! Hector springboards off the second rope and lands a beautiful dropkick to the back of the head of Shogo, which lands him outside of the ring, giving Casas his big first win in the limelight!

YUSUKE at Will's Dissolve laid out a challenge for Bobo "T" Gomez, but Brad Wolf proteted to officials, claiming he should be in line for a shot at the title he lost to Bobo a few months ago. Brad, after having a few epic encounters with Bobo, a few of which fans have claimed to be the best matches they had seen anywhere in the year, has kept a low profile and has focused on his team with Lee Stone. YUSUKE on the otherhand is nothing short of a Supernova, as he exploded on the scene in Spunk Pro and scored a few upset victories over Mr. T early on in his career, and then forged a path into Pro-Wrestling WILD, as he was gaining steam in his team with Shogo Otsuka before WILD turned over. YUSUKE's temper of late has still been affecting him, but he was able to keep his calm during this bout. It was back and forth, with Wolf able to hold his own on the mat with YUSUKE, as he has a background of amatuer wrestling (from high school), as well as his Marine training. Wolf tried to keep this technical, and strayed from brawling too much, as YUSUKE tried his best to close the distance and tap him out early on, to no avail. It proved to be a stalemate until Wolf got the upperhand, hitting the Wolfhammer and stomping away in the corner, setting up for the Wolf's Bite! He charges at YUSUKE, and in an amazing spot YUSUKE catches Wolf in a Flying Triangle Lock!! Wolf struggles as YUSUKE has it locked in, but is able to roll him onto his shoulders for a quick 2-count before YUSUKE lets go of the hold! YUSUKE attempts a kneel kick, but Wolf ducks it, Wolf in the corner going for another Wolf's Bite! He charge at him -- YUSUKE sidesteps and launches himself off the ropes -- STO BOMBER!! 1!! 2!! 3!! YUSUKE WINS! YUSUKE looks taken aback, as Wolf recovers, as the next show YUSUKE gets his big break, and will challenge Bobo "T" Gomez for the Spunk Pro International Championship, a title that one of his mentors, Manakuro Marakuso made famous early in Spunk Pro history. YUSUKE and Wolf shake hands as YUSUKE bows to Wolf, and Wolf raises YUSUKE's hand.

This only spells trouble, as it brings out Sean Gabriel alongside Seamus McFadden decked out in a ref's uniform. Gabriel provokes Wolf, saying that he had to go all the way to SECW to find competition after WILD closed up, and that he got slighted by the best heavyweight they had to offer (...what?), but will get his revenge at some point, and hopefully take over SECW like he did WILD. He then adds that in the meantime he wants to demolish the best that Spunk Pro has to offer, and that tonight Brad Wolf will get to see his partner, Lee Stone, get demolished before his eyes. Stone comes out to protest, and our match is underway! Stone is able to dominate for a while, using his power to overcome Gabriel, but Sean's trickery and stiff-as-shit strikes helped him come roaring back. Wolf is on the outside as Seamus begins arguing with him, which leads for Sean to reach into his pants and pull out what looks like a roll of tape! Sean is taping his knuckles up! Stone staggers to his feet -- BIG RIGHT HAND, WITH THAT TAPE ON IT!! HE MAKES THE COVER.. 1..2...3! Gabriel cradles his title and holds it up high and celebrates like he just wrestled for 60!

The next bout saw D face off with Imago X in a heated bout that saw him take the win with a Sasorigatame after a lariat for the win. This leads us to our next bout, where per special request Johnny Jett has requested to face the T-Team in his Spunk Pro debut... Why? We have no clue, but Johnny Jett who only just debuted in RevX before they closed down has been granted his wish, and given his partner of choice against the T-Team of Lester and Mr. T. Jett in an pre-match interview (with the Jet Twins on each arm) made it clear that he has a master plan, and that Billy Hollywood has given him just the boost he needs to propel them into Superstardom, which he is all about. Jett claimed that when all was said and done, people would have a new Idol, and would no longer need the 'fraudulant' Mr. T. He claimed people would be eating Jett Cereal, hanging up posters of him and his catchphrases would be on lunchboxes. Most of this must of glided right off of Mr. T's back, except for the lunchbox comment, as Mr. T made it clear as he left for the ring that NOBODY, and he means NOBODY will take his place with the children of the nation, and that he pities DA FOOL that tries to take his spot. We were then treated to what turned into a war between the two teams, as Johnny Jett proved he had staying power, and Mr. T refused to tag out for the last 20 or so minutes of the bout, as it was just the two of them squaring off, until the time limit expired. This caused Lester to argue with Mr. T, saying that if he was tagged in, it would of been over by now. He accused Mr. T of losing his fire and letting some 'plebian' get into his head. Lester stormed off, and Mr. T turned around to a Superkick from Jett! Jett put a foot on Mr. T's chest and posed for the cameras, as Billy posed with him.

The Main Event saw Spunk putting his newly crowned Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship on the line with a man who over the past few months has proven himself not only to be a threat in tags, but has proven himself to be a strong singles competitor as well -- Alabama Dan! This match was Dan fighting for his life, as Spunk kept a reactionary approach to Dan, not knowing what he would do next. Dan kept for straight-forward brawling through most of the match, as Spunk just set up ways to foil him. It wasn't long before Dan struck a chord with Spunk and Spunk got a fire in his eyes and started really attacking Dan. It then turned into Dan fighting for survival, as Spunk was unleashing devastating strikes on Dan, downing him with a series of kicks ending in a savate, which led for Spunk heading up top and landing a devastating doublestomp to the back of the head! Spunk makes the cover.. 1....2..... 2.999999!! Dan barely gets the shoulder up! Spunk looks furious, as he argues with ref MDK. Spunk shakes his head and sends Dan off the ropes -- DAN OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A KNEELIFT! He is too tired to make the cover, though! Both men slowly up, Spunk going for a high kick -- Dan ducks it! Dan hoists him up on his shoulders!! Its time for the Go 2 Alabama!! Wait! Spunk slips over and has him in a RNC!! Dan drops down to a seated position as Spunk keeps the hold locked in... Dan looks like he is going out.. Spunk legs go, dashes off the ropes -- PK! The impact sends Dan rolled over onto his knees, which Spunk grabs him by the hair and starts peppering him with kicks to the face! He tucks him under -- JAGERBOMB! 1!! 2!! 3!! Spunk has retained the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship! Spunk drapes the title over his shoulder and does his signature pose before he leaves the ring, as Dan helps himself up and raises his hands as the fans cheer for him, and a slight chant breaks out.. WAIT! WTF?! The Russian National Anthem? Wait.. Who the... Superjew? Shakin' Tom? Some really big, fat dude? What the hell is going on?! Superjew has a mic

Superjew (forced Russian accent): "Ala-Bah-Ma Dan. Ve.. Ve are fvom moccccckdur Russia!"

Shakin' Tom and the very, very large man nod in agreement as they surround Dan, who is now backed into a corner.

Superjew (cont accent): "Deees.. Iz Shakin' Comrade.. I... Am Supercomrade.. And this..."

The giant man rushes at Dan and nails him with a huge RUSSIAN HOOK, knocking him into the corner, where he continues to pepper him with Russian Hooks, before getting him in an Iron Claw!! He pulls Dan towards the center of the ring and slams him down with an Iron Claw Bomb.. AND HE KEEPS THE IRON CLAW ON!! Superje--err, Supercomrade laughs like a (Russian) maniac, as he gets down and looks at Dan as he writhes in pain.

Supercomrade (cont accent): "An' deeees.. Is.. ARIS! Ve.. Ahr fvom muddah RUSSIA.. Een Muddah RUSSIA Iron Claws YOU! HA. HA. HA!"

At this point Hobo Joe comes out like a HOSS ON FIRE, and actually spits fire at the 'Russians' as they flee the ring, Supercomrade and Shakin' Comrade holding back the monster Aris as Dan is in the ring, bloody and in pain as Hobo Joe checks on him. Good lord, what kind of fucking shit is this.. JOIN US NEXT TIME!

WWA News 8.31.06 (Spunk Pro, RevX)

Spunk Pro - After the Spunk Pro "Wills Dissolve" show in which young Dink was shaven bald by DEMOS after their brutal, brutal encounter, Spunk made his heroic comeback into Spunk Pro defeating the monster 001 for the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship. Manakuro Marakuso, WWA Board Member was quick to enter the ring and present the championship to its new owner. This is the second time Spunk has held the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship, and when interviewed Spunk said this reign, unlike his previous one would be a success; there would be many, many title defenses. For those who don't remember, Spunk's first reign as Spunk Pro Heavyweight Champion was quite brief, as he defeated Mr. T for the title, and lost it back to them in their next encounter.

When asked how it feels to have returned to the ring, Spunk said it felt great, especially to be performing for the Spunk Pro fans again. He was asked about his loser-leaves-town bout against D, to which he replied "The vermin that is the Ministry has left, and their influence over D is no more; we've spoken since then and mended fences." He spoke confidently as he fastened the new title around his waist. "There is no reason for me not to return," he added as he shook hands with Marakuso and posed for the cameras. It is clear that Spunk is back at his home, and is ready to take on all comers. When asked about who he'd like to defend against he batted the names of Alabama Dan, Lester "T" Bourbon as well as laid out and open challenge to anybody in the world who would like to tie up with him, as he feels ready to prove he is "the man" around Spunk Pro.

RevX - RevX looks like its over before it even got started, as financial problems have been plaguing them since the inception of the company, when Druid filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and was forced to sign the company away, which it then became RevX. It has soon been discovered that the Hammer House Gym, Phil Baroni specifically is the owner of RevX, and has decided to pull the plug on the company after reporting heavy losses after the first few shows. Baroni states; "Itsa fuckin' money pit! Dem wanna-be Christ fahgs ovah-prah-douched dis shit, an' be payin' all dese guys too fuckin' much money. Fuck dis shit, I'm done." Manakuro Marakuso left the meeting having stated that this indeed shakes up the WWA community, but that RevX's promising talent shall be signed to Spunk Pro and given a chance to compete again (including the renegade Ministry X). The Ministry, Havok, Johnny Jett, Billy Hollywood, Superjew, Shakin' Tom are the notable signees to Spunk Pro. In the wake of this, Spunk Pro has decided to let go of some of its dead weight. Such talents as Asstaco, Renegayd, Niko the Destroyer, Decepticon Mask, and a few others find themselves now as freelancers, with the promise of future bookings from Spunk Pro when there is room.

Spunk Pro - Wills Dissolve

Spunk Pro - Wills Dissolve (8.30.06 - Spunk Pro Arena, 1,026 fans)

Ladies and Genlethings, welcome to Spunk Pro's "Wills Dissolve" live from the Spunk Pro Arena! Huge card lined up here tonight, featuring a Double-Header Main Event! In the first Main Event we see DEMOS and Dink face off in a Mascara Contra Cabellera 2/3 falls bout, the loser either loses his Mask or his Hair. Then the second Main Event pits Spunk Pro Heavyweight Champion 001 against the number one contender for his title, Spunk! It was originally Locust Star who won the contenders tournament, but it turned out that when he unmasked, he was Spunk! So Spunk will see his return to action for the first time since Evo.R where he faced off with EWS in a bloody, brutal match to retire EWS. Our first match pits the Young Guns team of Tom Johnson and Ken Hunt against the Sexual Deviantz Pete Batfarti and Goat Banga. It was a quick-paced match with the young Tom Johnson picking up the huge win with a brainbuster on Goat Banga!

Next we saw what could be called a classic brawl between two of the best we've got in Hobo Joe, a Spunk Pro Tag Team Champion and Lee Stone. As you'd imagine, Hobo Joe brought out his wide array of weaponry for this match, including his shopping cart to carry all of it. Lee Stone played it by the books and brought the pain with his fists and slams, but in the end he was a bloody mess and couldn't overcome Hobo Joe's weapons and power, as he falls to the Shopping Cart Shuffle, for the first time -- INTO A SHOPPING CART! An unorthodox win if ever, but proved to be a brutal match.

Bobo Gomez mades another successful defense of his Spunk Pro International Championship against the former Blood.Machina, James Ray. James brought something Bobo has not faced in his long reign in somebody well trained in shoot-wrestling, a style that proved to be very unorthodox against Gomez's straight power and suplex style. But Bobo's amazing suplex skills were able to overcome the tough-as-nails James Ray. After the match Bobo applauded his opponent, but ran down the concept of shoot-wrestling, saying that his style of Bum-fighting overcomes all. Well, this brought out the ever-exubrant YUSUKE! YUSUKE faced off with Bobo and told him that he'd show him what shoot-wrestling was, and that he'd never forget it.

Speaking of YUSUKE, the next bout featured the team of VIOLENCE going head-to-head with OdZ members MAX and RUINER in what proved to be a fast-paced match. A unique pairing was MAX and YUSUKE who both have an amatuer wrestling background, and both use a lot of suplexes, with both guys throwing everything at each other. It was finally YUSUKE's STO-Bomber that put MAX down for good and picked up the victory for the VIOLENCE team. When the trainers checked out RUINER it was discovered that during the match Shogo Otsuka's Shogo MAX-Cross that was applied to him broke his arm in 2 places and that he'll require immediate surgery and will be out for a few months rehabbing it.

For the first time, a Pro-Wrestling WILD sanctioned championship will be defended on a Spunk Pro show, as Sean Gabriel, the WILD International Champion will face off with Mr. T in what should be an epic encounter. Mr. T was cost his chance to move on in the contender's tournament when Seamus McFadden distracted him and Sean rolled him up for a flash pin, with Sean making it all the way to the semi-finals before being eliminated. Since then Mr. T earned his shot at the title by thwarting Seamus, and now gets his shot! Of course, the unknown stipulation was Seamus is our guest ref! Sean and Mr. T went at it for nearly 20 minutes in what was a FUCKING CLASSIC encounter. Mr. T busted out his big moves early on, and really looked like Sean would be done by the 10 minute mark. But Sean made a big rally and brought the stiffness and the intensity. It was back and forth for a while, and it really looked like Mr. T had the upperhand when he had Sean up for the B.A.D. only for Seamus to low blow him and for Sean to roll him up into a cradle for the 3-count!

Now it is time for the Main Events of the evening.

6. Mascara Contra Cabellera: DEMOS vs Dink
7. Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship: 001 (c) vs Spunk

Dink and DEMOS faced off in a brutal hair vs mask match that went the full 3-falls. Sadly due to time restraints the match had to be clipped a bit to fit into the TV block, but the second falls are completely intact. This match was nothing short of passionate and everything you could wish for from a fued as vile as this. DEMOS, the man upon his debut in Bozac Pro roughed up the then-pregnant Martha Dumptruck, causing her to have a misscarriage was quick to capitolize on this heinous act, and dub his finishing clutch the SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Clutch. Due to the fact it took place during a competetion that both had signed waivers for, Martha was unable to press charges against DEMOS, and her boyfriend and the fetus's father, Dink was quick to take charge at DEMOS to regain her honor. It was an emotional fued that led to a deathmatch at Int.Des months ago with Dink picking up the win. An enraged DEMOS and his newly-formed band of Oni del Zokugai were quick to pounce upon Dink and his friends, with DEMOS eventually bringing clippers to the ring and trying to take Dink's hair. Upon Martha's return, DEMOS once again attacked her, shaving parts of her head before Dink made the save, all of this leading up to tonight's main event.

DEMOS and Dink were dead even for the first fall, with Dink using his flash pins, Jeff Hardy and John Cena moves on DEMOS, and DEMOS just brutalizing Dink every chance he got. DEMOS pulls out the win in the first fall with the SIDS Clutch, putting the Jeff Hardy follower down. The second fall was Dink's big rally, as he made his heroic comeback with his flash-pin-fu, using everything he could to put DEMOS down. The FU wouldn't do the job, but the Code Geoff did the trick, rolling DEMOS up for the 3-count and tying this one fall to one, the winner of the next fall loses their hair or mask! The third fall was nothing short of POETRY IN MOTION. DEMOS, who is usually calm and collected was panicking, tossing everything at Dink, and Dink doing everything in his power to roll DEMOS up for the fall. It was finally a shot to the nuts and the SIDS clutch to end this near-40 minute encounter, with DEMOS overcoming Dink! When it came time for DEMOS to shave Dink's head, he stopped, pissing the little guy off, who wants his head shaven! DEMOS takes Dink's flight goggles off, tosses them into the crowd and then starts working away on the poor little guy's head! As Dink's hair falls to the mat, his hair gets shorter and shorter, until there is next to nothing left and he pulls away from DEMOS. Dink walks to the back in shame, as DEMOS holds up whats left of Dink's multi-colored hair in victory!

Now it comes time for our Main Event! Spunk vs 001 in an epic encounter. 001 threw everything he had at the returning Spunk, including his array of chokeslams, lariats and power moves, but Spunk came back looking better than ever, and more focused than ever. Spunk focused on devastating his opponent with his lariats, kicks and finally caps it off with the big Jagerbomb for the 1-2-3!! NEW HERO! NEW HERO! Spunk has dethroned the giant 001 here tonight in his comeback! Spunk poses in the ring with the belt as 001 toils his way to the back... Thank you folks, see you next time -- AT SPUNK PRO WRESTLING~!

Spunk Pro August '06 Digest -- The Build is ON

Spunk Pro 8.19.06 - Spunk Pro Gym - 509 fans

Highlights from tonight's show included OdZ unveiling its newest member, Power CHUCK, who since his return from his excursion has been meandering around, it appears he has finally found a home with OdZ. They took on and out the team of Dink and Tom Johnson, with Power CHUCK debuting his new Power Driller (Tower Hacker Bomb), absolutely devastating the young Johnson and picking up the 3-count as Dink brawled with DEMOS. DEMOS once again had his clippers handy, but officials were able to stop him before he did any damage.

In the quest for tag dominance in Spunk Pro, we'll have OdZ and VIOLENCE meet up at Wills Dissolve, but before then RUINER faces off with what many have described as the future ace of Spunk Pro, YUSUKE. The pressure seems to have gotten to him lately, as he has showed signs of cracking, but will he here tonight? The action was hot and heavy, but YUSUKE got distracted by MAX at ringside, which led to a backslide by RUINER for a surprise 3-count!

The odd pairing of Sean Gabriel and James Ray proved to come up short against the polished T-Team. Mr. T and Bobo were on form here tonight, and Mr. T demands vengeance on Sean Gabriel for costing him at shot at 001 for the title in the tournament. Mr. T once again unleashed his fury upon Gabriel, leveling him with a chokeslam that forced the ref to stop the bout! Bobo and Ray had a face off which popped the fans, pumping them up for their upcoming encounter for the Spunk Pro International Championship. McFadden is attending to Sean while Mr. T grabs a mic and appeals for Sean to give him a shot at the WILD International Championship! Seamus is quick to defend the KTFO'd Sean, and Mr. T makes a wager with them, that if Seamus can defeat Mr. T, he won't get a shot, but if he does... Mr. T gets a shot at the title. Seamus, ever the hot-head accepts, and it looks like we'll have a Seamus and Mr. T showdown at our next event!

The main event for the evening saw what was just an all-out brawl between two hosses in Brad Wolf and Alabama Dan. Dan tossed everything he could at Brad, and it was finally the reverse DDT that put him down for a 3-count.

1. OdZ (DEMOS/Power CHUCK(O)) (12:04 - Power Driller) Dink/Tom Johnson(X)
2. RUINER (13:56 - Backslide) YUSUKE
3. The T-Team (Mr. T(O)/Bobo "T" Gomez) (14:40 - KO) Sean Gabriel(X)/James Ray
4. Alabama Dan (13:43 - Alabama Drop) Brad Wolf

Spunk Pro 8.26.06 - Spunk Pro Gym - 600 fans

The warm-up show to Wills Dissolve was short and sweet, as things started off with Dink challenging the latest OdZ member, Power CHUCK in what was a quickly-paced bout that saw Dink fall to the sheer power of, um, Power CHUCK. The Power Driller did the job on Dink, leaving him open to DEMOS to come in and pull out the clippers! Just as he turned them on, he looked down at Dink and shook his head, slapping him across the face with the clippers, then laying them on top of him, leaving him in a heap and sending a brutal message to the little guy!

In a match that would decide the fate of the Mr. T/Sean Gabriel match, Mr. T overcame Seamus with ease. The ref quickly tossed Sean Gabriel from ringside, and Mr. T thwarted Seamus who had his cane ready to strike. B-A-D.. 1-2-3.

Huge happenings in the main event, as YUSUKE gets the big win, first off, and second off, Locust Star was unmasked! Not by anybody else, but on his own volition he took his mask off in the heat of battle, unveiling himself to be none other than Spunk! For some reason, 001 could not compute this, and was grasping at his head in agony and left the ringside area, leaving this match a 3-on-1, with YUSUKE overcoming MAX for the tap-out. So there is no more Locust Star, but instead Spunk will be facing 001 for his shot at the championship! Spunk, whom nobody has seen in a wrestling ring since Evo.R will be facing off against 001! DRAMA!

1. Power CHUCK (11:13 - Power Driller) Dink
2. Mr. T (2:11 - B.A.D.) Seamus McFadden
3. Locust Star/YUSUKE(O)/Shogo Otsuka (24:14 - YU-Roll) 001/RUINER/MAX(X)

8.28.2006

WWA Round-Up - 8.28.06

RevX 8.20.06 - Vets Memorial Hall, 533 fans

RevX's 8.20 rally was a smaller-sized show, but proved easy to keep the fans entertained. The show opened with your usual comedy bout between the BOZAC ARMY and the jobber army, which saw Bee Man pick up a rare victory with a diving hip attack, rendering Rusty Chodes outta it. Post-Match a man in a NY Yankees mask came out and punched Druid's lights out, then beat the ever-living shit out of Bee Man until security came out to break up the disturbance. The masked man crotch chopped a lot, until he just ripped his mask off, revealing it was PHIL BARONI!! THE NY BAD ASS!! He grabbed a mic and said that he 'wudn't done' roughing up Druid. He took his company away, and now due to all of the shit he put him 'trew' he wants to 'end his puh-tetic life' right in the RevX ring! When Druid came to, he told Baroni he was on, when Baroni laughed and said at the next show they better be ready for a TAG MATCH, with Baroni having a MYSTERIOUS PARTNER.

Next the RE.V members out demanding a shot at the RevX Championship, they didn't care which one it was, that just one of them got a shot at Jesus X, who they thought was ducking them. Jesus X appeared on the screen and smiled, saying that one of them indeed would, then teased who it would be, before he chose Jun Mochizuki. Ito sighed, but patted Jun on the back, as they both headed out, leaving Gene in tow, only for out of nowhere Jesus X to tell them he had another surprise in store for the newest member, and for him to stick around. Sydal looked confused and flipped off the screen to a huge pop, only for out of nowhere Havok comes up from behind him and spikes him on his head with a half nelson suplex! Sydal was never truly able to recover and became the next victim for Havok. Havok grabbed a mic afterwards and told Jesus X he could tear through the roster all day if he had to, but that sooner or later, that title belonged to him.

More unfolded in the TAG TEAM SAGA later on, when Billy Hollywood took on Superjew. About 3 minutes into the match, Superjew went for a SPEAR~! on Hollywood, only to have his head nail the mid-section of Hollywood and for both men to go down, neither moving. Billy started to stir finally, and rolled Superjew off of him, only to stand up and pull a LARGE STEEL CODPIECE OUT OF HIS TRUNKS! HE JUST BRET HART'D SUPERJEW! Medics come out to attend to him, as Billy grabs his tag title and holds it up to a large rousing applause from the audience.

What came next was the debut of Johnny Jett, whom not much is known about other than he is a recently signed recording artist looking to hit it big. Imago X is his debut opponent, already in the ring... As the lights go out and the music starts up, and Johnny Jett walks through the curtain, wearing a fur coat and being flanked by two scantily-clad twin girls! If only Jett's in-ring performance could match up to his entrance, though, as he lasted 15 minutes against Imago X before Imago put him down with a lariat for the text-book 3-count.

This brings us to our main event, the biggest match of Mochizuki's career going for the RevX title against Jesus X, a legend already for being the longest reigning Spunk Pro champion before finally losing it to 001 just months ago. Mochizuki fought the fight of his life, throwing everything he had at the champion in hopes of scoring the upset and taking the title home. Imago and Judas came out to assist Jesus, but he turned them away, cockily implying that he didn't need any sort of help to beat Mochizuki. Jesus even taunted him for a few moments with one hand behind his back working him over with his free hand and his feet before Mochizuki was able to overcome and overwhelm him. Jesus X meant business after this, as he unleashed his signature flurry of offense upon Mochizuki before putting him down with the Sign of the X.

VISUAL Fighting Productions - Spunk Pro Dojo, 332 fans

VISUAL Fighting made its return after a brief financial hiatus, now being funded by the WWA and finding itself able to run shows again. With WILD itself having a floundering women's division tonight we were able to line up a few new stars, in Aikuchi Shinjo as well as WILD Women's Champion Polly Dod! Word from the WWA is that there is even a future title defense lined up for the belt in VISUAL! We open up with one of Johnny Jett, of RevX sort of fame's valets making her in-ring debut against the monster that is Martha Dumptruck. To say Martha destroyed her is an understatement. The finish proved to be a bit odd, as Martha just tossed her down and stomped her until she couldn't take anymore and gave up.

Former WILD Women's Champion Aikuchi made her VISUAL debut against the mother of Druid in what turned out to be a lot more competitive bout than anybody would of suggested! Apparently Druid's Mom has done some more training under Phil Baroni or something, but Aikuchi still pulled through with her superior skill and made a successful debut! After the match Aikuchi went to shake her hand, when Mrs. Funkerdale spit on her and left, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of the fans, as well as Aikuchi.

Polly Dod made her debut next alongside Spunk's sister, Stacey in a match where they upset the VISUAL Rangers, who seemingly cannot catch a break no matter how hard they try. Stacey's Strangle Hold on former Champ Akino put her to sleep, as Polly simply laughed and polished her belt on the apron. Things heated up post-match between both sides as Akino and Rei were not pleased with the result, and both were clawing at Polly. This brings us into the main event, which proved to be another blow to the VISUAL Rangers, as the vet Kuroda fell to the Champ in 15 minutes to a flash pin to take it home.

Spunk Pro July '06 Digest! Plus "Wills Dissolve" card!

7.14.06 - RI Indoor Sports Arena (Warwick, RI) - 1,230 fans (Super No Vacancy)

Tonight saw the finish to the Spunk Pro Contender's Tournament, as well as lots of other HOT SPUNK PRO ACTION~!! Ken Hunt opens the show with a ceremonial squash of Rusty Chodes, possibly making a new yellow spot on his tights from the impact of the spear that Hunt nailed him with. The Oni Del Zokugai once again faced off with Dink and Martha, this time the totall annihilation of Martha Dumptruck happened before Dink's prone eyes as he was handcuffed to the ropes and couldn't help. DEMOS brought clippers to the ring with him like he has in the past and began to shave Martha's head until the ring crew freed Dink who made the save on his girlfriend, who now is missing chunks of hair.

The big semi-finals for the tourney start now, as Alabama Dan pulls off a HUGE victory over WILD International Champion Sean Gabriel. Mr. T made himself clear in the crowd early on, still shook up by his loss to Gabriel, and chased Seamus to the back. It was a tough, stiff match that saw Alabama Dan bring out a new move; the Go 2 Alabama, which is a fireman's carry -> Knee to the fucking face, that floored the fans and got Gabriel down for the 3-count. Locust Star and Lester took center stage next, as the winner will go on later tonight to face Dan to see who the number one contender will be! Lester used his main event offense, but this just irked Locust Star, who proceeded to stiff the ever-living shit out of Lester. Lester kept fighting, though, as his teammates from the T-Team rallied around him at ringside. The ref finally had to stop the match after a flurry of high kicks from Locust Star leaving Lester prone on the mat, with LS driving knees into his head. This leaves us with a finals of Locust Star and Alabama Dan, the winner to face 001 for the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship!

VIOLENCE faced off with Strike Force next in a match that had the fans going wild, only for the time limit to expire on them, as the 30 minutes simply flew by. Both teams believe they should be in line for a shot at the tag titles, and after tonight many of the fans agreed that both teams deserve a shot. Wataru Araya came out and laid out an open challenge for anybody to challenge him for his title, which brought out Stuart Robinson and VD Dod, the LRI duo that terrorizes everything. Wataru stepped up to Stuart, but Stuart informed him that he couldn't make weight for the 'midget title' he held, but that VD would be glad to oblige. The challenge was set, and both men went at it. VD brawled his way to looking like he had the match won, but Araya never showed any signs of giving in. He kept working over his knee the whole match, and at the right time scores the Firehook and VD is forced to tap out! This sets the stage for the tournament finals; Locust Star vs Alabama Dan! The atmosphere is tense as both men come out, Locust Star as always, cool under the mask, while Dan knows this is one of the biggest matches of his career. Dan fought his heart out, but in the end it was a sick left-arm lariat from Locust Star that completely knocked him loopy, and the ref refused to let the match continue for his safety. Ladies and gentlemen, Locust Star vs 001 will be coming to a Spunk Pro arena near you! Dan gets to his feet and gets a rousing round of applause for fighting his best, as Marakuso comes out and thanks the fans for coming, sending them home happy.

The opening bout saw James Ray, Ti'en's first disciple face off with PTFO master Pete Batfarti, and score a quick and impressive 5 takedowns on Pete, giving him the easy victory over the former Olypian-Alternate Wrestler. Ray said he has a purpose for advancing on Spunk Pro, as he has been watching Bobo Gomez and demands a shot at his title. Bobo came out, and never one to back down from a fight accepts his challenge. Wataru and Wilkes took it to the young dragon team of Johnson and Hunt, with Hunt falling to a enzui->lightning cradle from Wilkes in a quick bout. DEMOS completely obliterated Martha Dumptruck in a match that she requested. He nailed the Shining Enzuiguri, followed by the Pedigree and the SIDS Clutch to put her away. After the match, he brings out the clippers again as MAX and RUINER hold her back, and proceeds to shave her head with it as she balls her eyes out, only for Dink to come out a minute too late to make the save. Dink is emotional as he tries to attack OdZ, only to be subdued. As they walk to the back, DEMOS holding Martha's multi-colored-Hardy-Boy-esque hair up, Dink grabs a microphone and challenges DEMOS; his hair vs DEMOS' mask. DEMOS laughs and agrees; MASCARA CONTRA CABALLERA COMING TO A SPUNK PRO SHOW NEAR YOU!

The T-Team wants a piece of Sean Gabriel, but Gabriel isn't exactly the most warmly welcomed guy in the back, so finding a tag partner was quite a hassle. Finally he just rounded up resident job-man Dick Doode, Dick falling to Mr. T's might rather quickly, leaving Gabriel fuming. Mr. T and Lester have a good laugh at this, as Sean proceeds to beat the ever-living shit out of Doode while McFadden eggs him on. Mr. T tells Gabriel he wants his ass in the ring at the next show, and Gabriel, worked up accepts as Seamus comes out and scolds him for being hasty, as they slink to the back. The fans get their wish, as Strike Force gets their tag shot against the WTST, but fall short in a hard-fought bout after Dan uses his new killer-tech, the Go 2 Alabama on the huge Lee Stone, proving the Walking Talking Stereotypes to be the greatest tag team we've seen in Spunk Pro in a long, long time. Our main event pitted contender Locust Star and the MYSTERIOUS DECEPTICON MASK (OMFG WHO COULD IT BE!?!?) against champion 001 and D. D once again falls to Locust Star, taking the Locust Spike and essentially being knocked out by it as he makes the easy pinfall on him. 001 seems to be going into a fit of rage, and punches a fan with emo hair in the mouth, inciting a near-riot in Warwick! It was the unlikely Locust Star who holds 001 back and calms him down, as we leave a riled up crowd more confused than ever, as our next show will have them fighting each other! WONKY!

The night started off with Strike Force taking on the team of Rusty Chodes and Dick Doode. Wolf really took it to Chodes, not giving him an inch. Only mere moments later, Lee destroyed Chodes for the 3-count and the easy victory. OdZ did their best to derail the return of Martha Dumptruck in a huge 6-err, man(?) tag. Martha did her best to destroy the man who put her out of action for months, using the Twist of Fate to no avail. The beatdown of Martha ensued, until Martha turned the tables on OdZ with her Twist of Fat(e)~!! Dink did his best to show his love for Martha upon her return, but took his eyes off of RUINER and paid the price for it! The beatdown continued until Martha distracted the ref, and Pete slid Dink the chair, with Dink pulling an Eddie Guerrero for the DQ victory over OdZ!

In the first match of the contenders tournament Mr. T met Sean Gabriel, who was as always accompanied by Seamus McFadden. Mr. T asserted his strength immediately on Sean. It was back and forth, but Mr. T made sure to make his raw power shown, having Sean in trouble! He was setting up for the powerbomb when Seamus distracted him long enough for Sean to get the quick win over Mr. T to move on to the next round!! Sean and Seamus didn't have long to celebrate, as the T-Team ran down to the ring to back Mr. T up and they had to high-tail it to the back. Alabama Dan faced off next with the mysterious Decepticon Mask. Decepticon Mask showed charisma not seen in ages against the wiley Dan, slamming Dan with authority! The fighting was intense back and forth action, before Dan unleashed the Alabama Knee Lift on the Masked man, before using the Alabama Clutch for the 3-count, thwarting Decepticon Mask's debut. Locust Star and YUSUKE met in a stiff match, where both went tooth and nail. YUSUKE did his best to keep Locust Star grounded. Locust Star was surprisingly happy to keep on the mat with YUSUKE, eventually choking him out with a front choke sleeper. Goat Banga came out afterwards, complaining that he was forgotten and deserved to be in this tournament. He called out 001, and demanded a shot tonight, only for 001 to simply pop his head out of the curtain and stare him down. Goat Banga continued to call him out, only for 001 to point to his title and nod once before walking to the back, leaving GB looking intense, ready for his shot at the big time tonight.

Lester "T" Bourbon met up with D in the semi-main event, but still utilized Main Event Style Wrassling early on. It was a slugfest between the two, the lariat vs the Axe Bomber. Lester catches the upperhand and nails D with the Axe Bomber, but D is able to kick out just barely! They continue to brawl, neither man wanting to give an inch. D unleashing a flurry of elbows on Lester, then nailing him with a Death Valley Bomb, and catching a near fall with the moonsault press, nearly taking Lester out of this tournament. It looked up for D, as he sets up the lariat, only for Lester to duck, kick to the gut! PED-O-GREE!! Lester nails the Ped-o-Gree on D, and 1...2...3! Its over! The main event was an unlikely one, as Goat Banga challenged the monster, 001 for the Spunk Pro World Title! 001 quickly showed Goat Banga that he wants to make this quick as he presses him high over his head! In a shocking turn of events, Goat Banga shows he will not be outmatched, and does the same to the champ! This only upsets the champ, who absolutely snaps and drives Goat Banga down to the mat! After some more pummelling, he calls for the finish, gets the goozle and finishes him off with the Infinity Bomb for the 3-count in record time!
