4.22 - NOW

4.22 - NOW

Tonight we embark on what should be an insane night following an insane show last week, with not only the most hated man in Spunk Pro history, Tommy Fiero showing up, but with Jack Dod as his partner! We had the debut of a Spunk Pro trainee, Big T's rampage leading to his destruction in his debut match! On top of that, ZODIAK defended his Spunk Pro International Championhip, Strike Force pulled off what we would consider a MAJOR upset over the tag champions, stealing the gold out from under what we all thought was an unstoppable force in the Celtic Bruisers! On top of that, Alabama Dan -- now known as Dan Sommers explained his actions, what he wanted, and showed us the raw power of the Alabama Nightmare again, unleashing his fury against Spunk Pro stalwart Bobo Gomez. Then of course we had Tommy Fiero's impact last week, pinning the Champion, Spunk, in a clean 1-2-3 with the help of Jack Dod, in a move that both upset and confused Spunk Pro fans worldwide!

Tonight we face what we could call the fall out, but what we face we are unaware of yet. Things begin as Spunk makes his way to the ring, the Spunk Pro Championship dangling from his hand, as he lays it out in the middle of the ring and yells for Fiero to get his ass out there. Our cameras catch up backstage with Fiero and Dod as they are making their way out to ringside, ZODIAK catching Dod's eye as he stops, sending Fiero out to the ring as he reaches into his bag, pulls out his wallet and slips ZODIAK a fold of cash. "You've gotten him shaken, thats all I wanted. Move along now, he is mine." ZODIAK just laughs as Fiero turns back around and tells Dod to hurry up, asking what he had to do with that maniac, only for Dod to usher them out, saying he has his own plans to get to the title. He thinks the direct route is, "fucking retarded."

Spunk tells Fiero he wants to end this here tonight. No more tags, no more hiding, just mono 'e mono, in the ring. Fiero laughs and explains that he'd love it, as long as the title is on the line. Spunk laughs and says he'd love to, all the while Jack Dod is on the sidelines flirting with a girl in the crowd, and grabs the mic from Fiero and tells Spunk to shut up and bring his monkey-boy out, as he wants to ask him how it feels to have lost the title to the man he paid to take it from him. This brings out a rabid YUSUKE from behind, attacking Dod, both of them brawling around while Spunk's eyes are locked on Fiero's, Fiero wearing a smug smile. Officials break up Dod and YUSUKE, helping them to the back, while Fiero slowly walks towards the ring, stopping just at the apron, while Spunk motions for him to step into the ring. DAN SOMMERS OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD OF FIERO! Fiero's head smacks the apron, and Spunk looks on in shock, as Dan slides into the ring, and starts throwing fists at Spunk, who slips out of the ring, leaving Dan in the ring with the title as he picks it up and slings it over his shoulder, as well as the mic. He points over at Spunk, and points at the title. "This, this is why I am here. We all knew that sooner or later I would come back for you."

Spunk looks on, confused, as his last defense was soundly defeating Dan (who did put up a good fight). "I'm sick of being overlooked," Dan continues. "If my path of destruction isn't impressive enough, I could go on... I want a shot, and I want it tonight. Fuck Fiero." The fans don't know what to think of this, as everybody wants to see Fiero destroyed, but Dan will not budge.. Spunk points at Dan, and then at Fiero and calls for a mic, as Dan stares at the title. "I don't care what you have to say, stuff it. I don't care if Fiero wants his shot, or if the fans want to see him get his ass-beaten. They can still get that, you can still get your mits on him -- but tonight, you both have to deal with a real sonnuva' bitch. You gotta deal with Dan fuckin' Sommers." He tosses the title down at Spunk and jumps down, heading to the back as Fiero gathers himself and Spunk picks up the title, a look on his face like things just went from bad to worse.

Our show kicks off with Shogo Otsuka showing AKAHIRA the ropes, so to speak, and putting forth a nice little back and forth bout with him, using the hanging Juji for the immediate tap out by the rook in 12 minutes time. The newly uncrowned Celtic Bruisers took on the VERY tough team of Bobo Gomez and D, both coming off of big losses the last week to Big T and Dan Sommers, respectively. D and Gomez were hungry, but still both a bit beaten up from last week. Gabriel and Baker looked vicious, and wanting to get another shot at those tag titles to take them home. There is no way anybody saw that coming last week, especially the champs, and they want to prove that it was a fluke. Gomez and D put up a valiant fight, but in the end Gomez was pinned by a Ground Cobra Twist by Baker, the surly celt after Gabriel nailed him with a straight punch to the face. After the match, Gabriel grabbed a mic and said that this should be proof enough that they get a shot at the champs next week, rain or shine, bumped, bruised or concussed.

The champs came out and accepted the challenge, saying they were up for any challenge, any day, any place. Well, that came back to bite them in the ass, I think, as ZODIAK and DEMOS come from out of nowhere and smash them both with chairs, laying them out before heading to the back. Stone and Wolf are helped up as they swear vengeance on OdZ and tell them tonight they will show them what kind of champions they are. Big T's path of destruction continued this week, him laying waste to the very formidable Tomohiro Ito in just shy of 8 minutes with the B.A.D. It seems like nobody can stop him, no matter how hard they try. OdZ are now in the ring, awaiting the tag champs. Who says that random attacks won't get you far? OdZ just clocked the tag champs and have themselves a tag title match out of nowhere. It was a violent, brutal match with ZODIAK and DEMOS showing strong teamwork, with RUINER on the outside helping to direct traffic and distract the ref. In just over 30 minutes things went bad for the champs, as both were bloody, beaten to a pulp and Wolf walks right into a face full of fire! ZODIAK wastes no time and spikes him with the ZODIAK SPIKE while DEMOS holds back the big bruiser and 1...2....3..NEW CHAMPIONS, AGAIN! OdZ are now the most decorated duo in Spunk Pro; ZODIAK both the tag and International Champion, and DEMOS holding the tag, Junior and WWA Lightheavyweight Championships!

Next up we have a match that is a result of apparent douchery on Jack Dod's part. Apparently Jack Dod's approach on Spunk Pro last week wasn't as random as we expected. It was a part of a formulated assault to get him to the title. How did he do it? Apparently he paid off ZODIAK and OdZ to ensure that Spunk's closest friend in Spunk Pro, YUSUKE, was left in shambles. ZODIAK and DEMOS have assaulted Spunk and YUSUKE in the following weeks, leading up to ZODIAK stealing the title from YUSUKE, which broke YUSUKE's spirits. Where this plan leads, we'll have to see, but what we saw was YUSUKE vs Jack Dod, and Jack Dod dissecting the kind-of-still-a-rookie mentally and physically. Lets not forget that last week the Dodsmack held YUSUKE back, left him laid out in the ring, and tonight it was no different. Only afterwards, after the pinfall, Dod did it again. That wasn't it, as he picked him up and delivered a third on the young YUSUKE, who is now being attended to by our emergency medical staff, as Jack Dod moves to the back looking greatly pleased with his work. How this plan unfolds, we'll have to see, but as of right now young YUSUKE looks out of it.

Now comes our moment of truth, and the biggest match Spunk Pro has seen in a very long time. The Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship is on the line in a triple threat match. Dan Sommers has in the past few weeks had a complete overhaul of his personality, and is more vicious than anyone could ever imagine. Tommy Fiero and Spunk's rivalry, well, we shouldn't have to get into this. When Tommy Fiero's VWA originally turned out to be a giant movie entitled 'Wrestle Wars' and Fiero wanted to promoted it, he and his thugs invaded Spunk Pro, trying to pass out movie passes and the like to fans. This turned south in a hurry, and led to the Wrestle Wars crew to get violent towards Spunk Pro, and led for Fiero running his mouth and attempting to use Spunk Pro as a promotional tool, including his quest to capture all of the titles to be auctioned off as movie memorabilia. WW was a dud, but that didn't stop Fiero from conspiring with Jesus X, as they from behind the scenes bankrupt Spunk Pro, putting the company on hiatus for months, only for Spunk Pro to come back, leaner and tougher than ever. But after a few shows, Fiero shows his face again, and here we are tonight, the culmination of months of violence, insults and treachery. Here we have the showdown between Spunk and Tommy Fiero -- with Dan Sommers the complete x-factor, forcing himself into this match from out of nowhere, and taking this from an elementary story about two men and their hatred for each other, to two men, their hatred for each other inside of a shark tank with a great white shark that hasn't been fed in weeks.

This was a recipe for disaster. To say that Sommers made an impact on this match is speaking lightly, as anytime Spunk and Fiero faced off, Sommers was there to deliver some crushing offense and offset things greatly. Fiero tucked tail and ran throughout most of the match, leaving Dan and Spunk to pound it out. Spunk's kicks vs Dan's fists, lariats and knees. Both men fought hard, with Fiero getting in a few big spots here and there, including a diving cross body from the top onto both men for a nearfall on the champ. While Spunk was distracted chasing Tommy Dan nails him with a big lariat, and sets him up for the Alabama Nightmare! Oh lord, he nails it! It looks like the champ is out of it here! Dan turns around -- WHAMMY BAR! Fiero out of nowhere with the Whammy Bar, he can feel it, the fans are looking on in disbelief, he locks on the Lock of Rock on Spunk! He has it locked in tightly, and I don't even think Spunk is awake anymore, Spunk is out of it, and the ref sees it -- he calls for the bell, and things seem to be moving in slow motion now! Ref Nick Fatts is raising Fiero's hand, and hands him the title. This is unreal.

Completely unreal.

Tommy Fiero is the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Champion. The weasel just weaseled his way into the record books. FIERO HAS STOLEN THE DAMNED TITLE!

I repeat, this is unreal. Tommy Fiero is the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Champion.

Fiero holds the title high and gives off a signature "Yeah! Whoo!" as Jack Dod comes out, smiles as he surveys the damage and shakes his head before heading into the back. Fiero now on his knees dramatically posing with the title.

This is unreal.

4.18.07 - FURIOUS.INTENT

4.18.07 - FURIOUS.INTENT

What we have lined up for you here tonight is breath-taking, as ZODIAK will make his first defense of the Spunk Pro International Championship against not only the ex-champion, YUSUKE, but the returning Tomohiro Ito! Ito made his shocking return at the last show, using his Shining Wizard to insult YUSUKE after his big win, and incite this triple threat match. As well as the Celtic Bruisers putting out an open challenge earlier today for their tag titles, only to be met by Strike Force's Brad Wolf and Lee Stone in what should be a hard-hitting match. Stone and Wolf haven't had much luck when it comes to the Celtic Bruisers, but maybe tonight could be their night. We also have Spunk vs RUINER after RUINER pinned Spunk last time in that elimination tag, Alabama Dan vs Bobo Gomez and the debut of a Spunk pupil, AKAHIRA.

AKAHIRA's debut was up first, and from what we can tell he works a style similar to YUSUKE's, only citing Kazuo Yamazaki as one of his idols and reasons to get into pro-wrestling. He takes on the tough challenge of Hector Casas as they get going, AKAHIRA using a brutal axe kick to take Hector down! The match doesn't last long though, as Big T barges into the ring, and both young grapplers charge at him, only to both be caught and double chokeslammed at the same time! T grabbed the house mic and demanded AKAHIRA gets out of his ring, unless he wants to be destroyed. AKAHIRA shows great heart and slowly gets up, only to slap T in the face. This turned out to be an unfortunate decision for him, but made the fans go wild! AKAHIRA hit a few big moves, like a vertical drop Olympic Slam and a rolling juji, but T is just too powerful and crushed him with the B.A.D. in 5 minutes time.

The next match proved to be a huge upset, where DEMOS took D to his limits, and pinned him after ducking a lariat, hitting a Pedigree and following with the SIDS Clutch. D looked frustrated, as he took his second straight loss. Alabama Dan came out next, sporting simply a pair of blue trunks and black boots. He grabbed the mic and told the fans to not-so-subtlety 'fuck off and die.' He said he was sick of busting his ass trying to make these people happy, and sick of losing, not being in control of his own fate. He said his partner, Hobo Joe, a lifelong friend, was simply dead weight and so stuck in his ways. "To evolve," Dan states, "a man needs to be vicious to be heard, to become something. I'm no longer your stereotype, I'm Dan Sommers, and I'm here to fuck some bitches and take the Spunk Pro title home." This only incited the fans to jeer louder, and brought out Bobo Gomez, who was last time a victim of his apparent turn on his partner and fans, and we have an impromptu bout! It was everything you'd expect from both of these guys, they hit hard, and they hit fast. Dan's backdrop looked brutal in its simple execution, and his lariat nearly took Bobo's head off. When all was said and done, what was the 'Go 2 Alabama' knocked Bobo out cold. Dan grabbed the mic again, got down in his face and told him he was a victim of the 'Alabama Nightmare.'

The fans seem genuinely disgusted, but hey, onto the tag team title match! It was fast, brutal and lived up to its expectations, with Strike Force putting heart and soul into it! The finish was breathtaking, with Baker having the huge Stone on his shoulders, setting up for a diving elbow from Gabriel, only for them not to notice Wolf made the blind tag to Stone. Wolf charged at the ropes, causing Gabriel to get crotched, and unloaded the huge spear on Baker, carrying both him and his large partner halfway across the ring! The added impact near-knocked Baker out, and set up for the 3-count, the upset and the NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The seemingly impossible has happened, as Wolf and Stone have captured the tag titles!

Spunk looks for revenge on RUINER next, in what starts off looking like RUINER is screwed, wait.. Wait.. WHAT?! A fan has jumped the rail! Not this again.. WAIT! THAT IS NO FAN! THAT IS NO FAN! CUT, WHAMMY BAR, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT ON SPUNK! THAT IS TOMMY FIERO! TOMMY FUCKIN' FIERO IS IN THE SPUNK PRO ARENA! This match has been thrown out, and the fans are booing as loudly as we can ever recall! Tommy Fiero, the man who essentially put this company out of business for a few months is showing his face in the arena! RUINER and Fiero clasp hands, and Spunk is slowly up, as Shogo and YUSUKE hit the ring, Fiero bailing out and laughing his ass off! Spunk grabs the rope, and calls for them to end this -- tonight! Right here! Spunk Pro Heavyweight title!

The Triple threat is up next, and holy shit has this night turned into an amazing night for Spunk Pro. It was everything you'd expect from these three, and it looked like YUSUKE had it in the bag at the end, as he had Ito in the center of the ring, trapped in a Triangle Lock! ZODIAK, out of nowhere, brandishing a chair up on top drops a huge leg drop square on the jaw of YUSUKE, Ito is out from the choke and ZODIAK makes the pin for the 1..2...3! This is an upset to say the least, and ZODIAK's reign of terror continues! Next up, our main event... Tommy Fiero, the scourge of Spunk Pro, the most hated man in this company's history against Spunk, the creator, owner and reigning Champion, a legend in his own right. Tonight is do-or-die time, as he has to show Fiero just who is boss and put him to sleep for good.

Spunk in the ring first, as he lays the belt out in front of him and calls for Fiero to come out. Fiero, in a long, shiny robe slowly makes his way down to ringside, basking in the soda cups being lobbed at him, only for Spunk to dash out of the ring and jump ontop of Fiero! Things are getting nasty right away, before the bell has even rung! Spunk levels Fiero with an elbow, and setting up the high kick -- WAIT! A chair just struck Spunk from behind! Who is this? The hair.. The tights.. The paint... Is that.. ITS JACK DOD! JACK FUCKIN' DOD JUST NAILED SPUNK WITH A CHAIR! Both men drag the champ back into the ring and are putting the boots to him! Nobody in their right minds ever expected to see Fiero here again, never mind Jack FUCKING Dod! Both men are just laying into the champ here, and we won't even get a match tonight! YUSUKE is stumbling out to the ring, but Shogo runs up behind him, tells him to head back and dashes into the ring! It looks like we have an impromptu (word of the night!) tag team match here! Spunk is hurt, and the team of Dod and Fiero is just vicious, as vicious as the crowd towards them! Spunk and Shogo fought as hard as they could, only for a superkick from Dod on Spunk setting up the Whammy Bar and the 3-count on Spunk, leaving the champ down for the count. Shogo tried to make the save, but received the DODSMACK for his efforts, and what we have here are Dod and Fiero standing over Spunk and Shogo, Fiero with the belt lifted high above him, only to spit on Spunk and have Dod yank the belt out of his hands, hold it up high as well and drop it on Spunk.

4.08.2007

4.8.07 - Spunk Pro VENGEANCE

4.8.07 - Spunk Pro VENGEANCE

After Spunk Pro being sidelined due to financial woes after Thomas Fiero and Jesus X were able to bankrupt Spunk Pro, another of Spunk Pro's sporadic shows went down tonight! The return of RUINER from his arm injury showed him taking out the young Hector Casas in short order, using the R-75 to do the job. After the match he grabs the mic and calls out the man who injured him; Shogo Otsuka. Shogo, being a man of honor and whatnot makes his way down to ringside, only to be jumped from behind by DEMOS! Its a 2-on-1 situation here, and here comes YUSUKE to help his partner! The lights go out! A burst of fire goes off in the ring, as the lights come back up to see ZODIAK in there, with all 3 men with the upperhand, only to bring Spunk out and for things to disperse. Shogo grabs the mic and calls for a 6-man tag tonight, only for ZODIAK to tell him to go fuck himself, he wants it elimination rules. They oblige and we have a HUGE main event for tonight!

Wataru Araya, the former Spunk Pro Jr champ put up a more than valiant effort next against Bobo Gomez. He had Gomez in trouble a few times, only for Bobo to get cocky and toss him around a bit, letting him come back now and then. It was finally the MUSO that puts him to sleep for good, netting another notch in Bobo's belt. Big T came out next, and proclaimed nobody could stop him, and that Johnny Jett refuses to show his face, so he'll have to take it out on anybody he wants to. He walks around ringside, looking at the jeering fans before he stops in front of a blonde girl, in her mid-20s I'd say, flipping him off. Big T threatens her with his fist, only for her to get into his face. T spits at her, only for her to start clawing at him! T grabs her by the hair and drags her over the guard rail! Oh dear lord! It looks like her boyfriend is trying to help her out, and he tries to jump the barrier only for T to punch him in the face, sending a few teeth flying into the audience and him in a heap. T is dragging this poor girl by her hair, and is setting her up for a brainbuster! Dear lord, don't do it, T.. don't do this! OH MY GOD ITS D! D WITH THE SAVE! We have ourselves an impromptu match here, with D defending this poor young girl! D has the upperhand for a good portion of the match, putting all of his energy into disassembling T. But it only takes a chokeslam, a powerbomb and then the B.A.D. to turn this from D's match into D's shoulders being down for the 3-count. Folks, they've awoken something horrible in T, and nobody knows what he'll do next.

What we were treated to next was a bout for the tag team championship. This was due a few months ago, but due to the whole falling out/financial crisis it never saw the light of day. Well folks, here we are for the Spunk Pro Tag Championship; Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker, the Celtic Bruisers, the Champions, two of the toughest men to ever compete in the ring, ever.. Against Alabama Dan and Hobo Joe, inarguably one of the defining tag teams of our era, multi-time Spunk Pro tag champions, and the premier names in tag team wrestling. It was a wild brawl like you'd expect, with a fire lit under Alabama Dan's ass, and him absolutely decimating anybody in his path. A few times shoving the ref out of his way so he can lay in a few more blows. But for all of his hard work, an Emerald Buster from Gabriel on Joe was good enough for the 3-count. The look on Dan's face is one of shock and anger, as he had put his all into this. Joe regains his composure and Dan argues with him in the ring after the match. Dan shoves Joe, only for Joe to try to calm him down and offer him his hand. Dan takes it, and the fans cheer, only for Dan to drive his knee into the stomach of his partner! Dan launches himself off of the ropes and nearly tears Joe's head off with a sick lariat! The fans are booing loudly now, some just staring in disbelief at what is unfolding before us. Dan props Joe up on his shoulders, holding him up high, and DRIVES him down face first into his knee! That was just sick! Joe is busted wide open and he looks to be out! Dan hops down from the ring and is walking to the back, glaring back at his partner laying in a pool of his own blood. Joe is starting to pull himself up now, as Dan looks back to see Joe trying to get up, and oh dear lord he is running back into the ring. He slaps Joe in the face and grabs him by the hair, yelling right into his ear "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU'VE ALWAYS HELD ME BACK!" He has him up on his shoulders again, dear lord no, no no no.. THERE IT IS AGAIN! AND THIS TIME HE ISN'T MOVING! Dan slicks his hair back and stares down at his lifeless partner, and god he is going for it again!?!? Officials making their way to ringside now, and here comes Bobo Gomez! Finally somebody coming out here to make the save! Dan and Gomez are exchanging blows, and D is hobbling his way out here now, and Big T from behind! T levels him with a lariat, distracting Gomez long enough for Dan to just drive him down with a backdrop! Dan picks him up -- AND THAT IS A NIGHTMARE OF A KNEE TO THE FACE!! T and Dan lock eyes and nod to each other, and there is nothing but CARNAGE in the ring here tonight.

The fans have been on an emotional rollercoaster so far tonight, and we are far from done! Our main event is the newly re-structured OdZ against Vio-Gun in an elimination tag match. It was an intense back and forth bout, with Shogo looking to re-injure RUINER's arm, and RUINER just looking to destroy. In the same vein Spunk and YUSUKE have scores to settle with DEMOS and ZODIAK, ZODIAK holding the Spunk Pro International Championship now after the last show where he narrowly stole it from YUSUKE. The fans were in shock when a low blow, followed by the R-75 put Spunk down for a 3-count in the OdZ corner! The dynamics of this match have changed completely! Shogo comes in with a vengeance, looking to just destroy RUINER! He pulls out his standby of the Uraken/SMI on him and torques his arm to the point of no return, with RUINER being forced to tap out to prevent another 5 month absence from the ring. Shogo, not looking to stop here quickly blocks a SIDS Clutch from DEMOS and turns it into a jujigatame for the tap out! This leaves ZODIAK at a clear disadvantage now, as its 2-on-1! Shogo looks confident that he can take the demon down, but ZODIAK is crafty and uses some chairs to his advantage! In a stunning display, ZODIAK sandwiches Shogo's head inbetween two chais and drops a huge top rope diving leg drop onto him! YUSUKE able to make the save at 2.999999999! Zodiak ducks a YUSUKE high kick, and hits an enzuiguri on him, then sets it up and FIREBALL! FIREBALL ON SHOGO! He looks out, and 1..2..3.. He is! ZODIAK to his feet, looking exhausted -- YUSUKE FROM BEHIND! DRAGON SUPLEX HOLD!! 1!! 2!! 3!!! YUSUKE DOES IT! YUSUKE PINS ZODIAK! Dear lord, what a main event!

YUSUKE, the young leader of Spunk Pro stands in the ring, victorious, a beaten warrior and wait-a-minute! Somebody just springboard dropkicked him down! YUSUKE trying to muster his strength up and is on one knee, wait, he looks familiar -- SHINING WIZARD ON YUSUKE! Is that.. Its.. Tomohiro Ito! He left with Jesus X to form RevX almost a year ago now! What is he doing back here?! He grabs a mic, and the crowd goes quiet; "Forget about me? The true leader of the future just knocked your ass out!" He tosses the mic onto YUSUKE's chest and walks to the back, as this show has just been off the charts insane tonight!

Spunk Pro - Letters in Blood

Spunk Pro Wrestling - 2.26.07 - Letters in Blood

After the last show YUSUKE immediately received medical attention where he spoke to reporters, an emotional wreck declaring he knows nothing about this "Zodiak" but would put his International Championship on the line against him to regain his pride, claiming that he is the future of Spunk Pro and wants it to return to its glory, with him at the helm.

We saw Big T come out and demand that the man who tried to ruin him, Johnny Jett comes out and faces him, only for Jett to come out and send his spokesman, Billy Hollywood instead. Hollywood was thusly destroyed in quick fashion by the new, meaner T. D and Bobo teamed up again, this time against the former tag champions, who put on one hell of a match against the Celtic Bruisers last time, with this new team looking unstoppable! The D Lariat into Gomez's Muso was enough to put the tough-as-nails Alabama Dan down for the 3-count! It looks like the Tag Division has more competition!

The tag champions collided after a backstage, drunken argument over their tag title match from last week, with the blame changing every time. It spilled to the ring, where we were treated to a brutal 30 minute match between the two, another in a long line of Gabriel/Baker matches, only for them to draw and shake hands post-match. Spunk then took on DEMOS, who seemingly brought the curse of ZODIAK to Spunk Pro, which apparently was his plan for months now. What we saw was a quick, heated match with the win going to Spunk after a series of kicks, followed by a huge left high kick that was heard throughout the arena. Spunk with a haphazard cover for the 3-count, only for ZODIAK to slide out from under the ring and nail Spunk with some GREEN MIST, and to hit a huge Tombstone Piledriver on Spunk!! YUSUKE charging the ring now, tossing the belt aside and we have a brawl ensuing here! YUSUKE and this newcomer, ZODIAK are tearing up the arena, and a huge DDT from ZODIAK on the floor, as he tosses YUSUKE into the ring steps. Oh no, it looks like he is setting him up for that fireball again, he lights it -- YUSUKE with a leg sweep as a giant fireball shoots up into the air! YUSUKE catches a kick from ZODIAK -- CAPTURE SUPLEX! That is a new one! It spills back into the ring, only for DEMOS to nail him with some mist of his own, setting up for ZODIAK to use a Michinoku Driver II, aptly named the Zodiak Spike for the win. NEW. CHAMPION.

Spunk Pro - OVERTURE.07

While details are still hazy at best, insider n00z sources have reported that Spunk Pro had a plethora of financial woes late in 2006 when Thomas R. Fiero and Jesus X made a deal and apparently a good portion of the Spunk Pro roster has either quit, disappeared or pledged allegiance to Jesus X. Apparently this is (was?) part of Fiero's plan; to sabotage Spunk Pro. Regardless, Spunk Pro held an impromptu FRREEEEEEEEEEEEE show tonight that aired on national television.

Spunk Pro - OVERTURE.07

1. Bobo Gomez(O)/D (22.33 - Lariat -> Muso) Brad Wolf/Lee Stone(X)
2. Big T (4.41 - B.A.D.) Manakuro Marakuso
3. DEMOS (14.46 - SIDS Clutch) YUSUKE
4. Spunk Pro Tag Team Championship: Celtic Bruisers (Sean Gabriel/Paddy Baker(^)) (24.04 - Double Count Out) WTST (Alabama Dan/Hobo Joe(^))
5. Vio-Gun (Spunk/YUSUKE(O)) (10.30 - DQ (Fireball)) OdZ (ZODIAK(X)/DEMOS)

Tonight saw what we can only guess is the RELAUNCHING OF SPUNK PRO, which will hopefully be bigger, better and with less filler. While the roster is still not exactly huge, D made his return from injury and teamed up with Bobo Gomez in a teaming that worked quite well, as D helped to break the cliche of return matches and helped to win, nailing the prone Lee Stone with a lariat while Bobo was struggling to get him up with the Muso. It was Muso, 1.2.3 and LIGHTS OUT. Brad Wolf challenged D to a bout afterwards, saying that while he showed fire, he would go commando on him and give him a real welcome back.

Mr. T, after being exposed by Johnny Jett, and after Jett took Jesus X's/Fiero's money and ran has come back with a VENGEANCE. No longer a fraud, he is now showing off a single-strapped black singlet and his signature mohawk, calling himself simply Big T. Big T destroyed veteran stalwart Marakuso in just shy of 5 minutes with the B.A.D..

Spunk Pro super-ace YUSUKE faced off with OdZ super-champion DEMOS in what was a heated contest that literally ended with fire and a bang! YUSUKE was setting DEMOS up for his patented Dragon Suplex for what most were thinking was the end when a figure jumped the guard rail; long dark hair, pale complexion with black and red facepaint and torn up black clothing. DEMOS took this as his cue and ducked while the figure tossed a fireball at YUSUKE; it barely missing, but putting YUSUKE off-balance enough for DEMOS to hit a quick SIDS Clutch for the win! Both men are putting the boots to YUSUKE when Spunk storms the ring and the two men screw, leaving Spunk to attend to YUSUKE.

Next we hosted the much-anticipated Tag Team Title match between the CB (CB!CB!CB!) and WTST. It was all that we could expect, only to be cut short by both legal men in Baker and Hobo Joe (in new gear!) being counted out while Sean and Dan brawled at ringside as well. Absolutely nothing was resolved in this match, and we can only expect more from both teams. Then we cut to backstage, where Spunk and YUSUKE storm the OdZ locker room only to encounter DEMOS and this newcomer and begin brawling. The brawl soon spills out to the ring, and we have ourselves an impromptu tag team main event! This was nothing pretty, as YUSUKE is already rather banged up, and this newcomer is still completely unknown other than the fireball he tossed at YUSUKE before. From what we can tell, he is a complete sadist who loves inflicting pain on his opponents... Which makes him a perfect fit for OdZ. Out of nowhere on the outside he tosses YUSUKE into the guard rail, then slams his head hard into the ringpost, then gives himself distance while DEMOS and Spunk are fighting in the ring... Wait.. FIREBALL! He tosses a fireball and it nails YUSUKE, whose hair has caught fire as he frantically tries to shake it off, with a crew running in with a fire extinguisher! It is chaos at ringside, as the lights go out, and the signal we have seen before appears in the ring! It is the sign.. The sign of the Zodiac Killer!. We fade out to the symbol and the sound of extinguishers and screams.

Spunk Pro -- 11.16.06

Spunk Pro 11.16.06 (Newton Rec Center - Newton, MA -- 788 fans)

Yet another fantastical night of fantastic fighting from Spunk Pro! Things started off hot and heavy as the young Ken Hunt gets a first huge victory in Spunk Pro tapping out Lee Stone, the big man with an Argentine Backbreaker in an absolute feat of strength! The Sexual Deviantz took it to Bobo Gomez and Hector Casas, as Banga picks up another big win with the Banga Bomb on Gomez! It looks like another name is emerging in the Spunk Pro International Title hunt! VIOLENCE took on OdZ, when Shogo was forced to find a partner, Ti'en was there for him as we got a heated contest between the two, with Shogo tapping out Power CHUCK with the Shogo MAX II!

Thomas R. Fiero was in singles action here tonight, against the tough as nails Brad Wolf in a hard-fought bout. Wolf put his all into the match, knowing this could push him over the hump and put him into title contention, but Fiero was able to overcome him with an array of dirty tactics. It was finally the Rockin' Kick that put Wolf out, with Fiero getting the big win, setting himself up to challenge Spunk for the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship! A main event has been set up with Alabama Dan and Hobo Joe challenging Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker for the Spunk Pro tag titles. Sean, Paddy and Seamus gave a hearty laugh, as Seamus told them if one of them could defeat one of the Celtic Bruisers here tonight, they would get a shot. Alabama Dan offered himself up, leaving the Bruisers rock-paper-scissors in the ring, only to turn into a shoving match. The WTST look on sort of confused as we now have a shoving match, and oh lord, a headbutt face off! They are going back and forth headbutting each other, and Sean with a low blow, pushing Baker out of the ring, and Sean turns to Dan, charging at him as the bell rings! What we were then treated to was just an all-out sick brawl. Tooth and nail, back and forth, it was nothing short of brutal and breath-taking before Alabama Dan takes the huge upset victory with the Go 2 Alabama!
