Spunk Pro -- 11.16.06
Spunk Pro 11.16.06 (Newton Rec Center - Newton, MA -- 788 fans)
Yet another fantastical night of fantastic fighting from Spunk Pro! Things started off hot and heavy as the young Ken Hunt gets a first huge victory in Spunk Pro tapping out Lee Stone, the big man with an Argentine Backbreaker in an absolute feat of strength! The Sexual Deviantz took it to Bobo Gomez and Hector Casas, as Banga picks up another big win with the Banga Bomb on Gomez! It looks like another name is emerging in the Spunk Pro International Title hunt! VIOLENCE took on OdZ, when Shogo was forced to find a partner, Ti'en was there for him as we got a heated contest between the two, with Shogo tapping out Power CHUCK with the Shogo MAX II!
Thomas R. Fiero was in singles action here tonight, against the tough as nails Brad Wolf in a hard-fought bout. Wolf put his all into the match, knowing this could push him over the hump and put him into title contention, but Fiero was able to overcome him with an array of dirty tactics. It was finally the Rockin' Kick that put Wolf out, with Fiero getting the big win, setting himself up to challenge Spunk for the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship! A main event has been set up with Alabama Dan and Hobo Joe challenging Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker for the Spunk Pro tag titles. Sean, Paddy and Seamus gave a hearty laugh, as Seamus told them if one of them could defeat one of the Celtic Bruisers here tonight, they would get a shot. Alabama Dan offered himself up, leaving the Bruisers rock-paper-scissors in the ring, only to turn into a shoving match. The WTST look on sort of confused as we now have a shoving match, and oh lord, a headbutt face off! They are going back and forth headbutting each other, and Sean with a low blow, pushing Baker out of the ring, and Sean turns to Dan, charging at him as the bell rings! What we were then treated to was just an all-out sick brawl. Tooth and nail, back and forth, it was nothing short of brutal and breath-taking before Alabama Dan takes the huge upset victory with the Go 2 Alabama!

SPUNK PRO HOUSE SHOW MANIA! Goat Banga picks up what seemed like a fluke win over the HOSS Bobo Gomez. Needless to say, he you know, won. Shogo Otsuka took it to OdZ member Power CHUCK, sending a message to DEMOS reversing a lariat into a Shogo MAX Cross, refusing to let go after he tapped, and forcing the doctors to rush out and attend to CHUCK. At this point we cut to backstage, where the RUSSIANS, our tag champs are shown staring at a bottle of vodka, when Sean Gabriel and Paddy Baker walk up behind them. The Russians act like they had been drinking all night when Baker laughs and calls them all pussies, saying they couldn't outdrink a little girl. Supercomrade takes acception to this claiming he "vonce out drank ze entire land of Scott." This caused the Irishmen to laugh heartily, and challenge them to a drink-off. The Russians looked pensive, but took the bait. The Irishmen quickly outdrank the tag champs, and lured them into a tag team title bout later tonight!
We cut now to Strike Force facing off against Manakuro Marakuso and his pupil, Ken Hunt. It was a back and forth contest, until Ken Hunt shocks the world and pins Lee Stone, the big tough Stone with a spear! Now we get the RUSSIANS stumbling to the ring with the tag titles, as Seamus McFadden grabs the mic and introduces the NEXT Tag Team Champions, the Celtic Bruisers -- Paddy Baker and Sean Gabriel! What we got next was a brutal beating from the Bruisers, with Aris fighting back, while Supercomrade can barely stand. Paddy Baker finishes off Supercomrade with an inverted tombstone to crown NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Hey, another title match! YUSUKE, the Spunk Pro International Champion faced off with WRESTLE WARS supporting actor Captain Kickass in what was a grueling bout! YUSUKE fought with a burning passion, which overcame Kickass with a Shining Triangle. As YUSUKE celebrates, Jonas McKidd sneaks to the ropes and springboards in, lariating young YUSUKE, then spitting on the Spunk Pro International Championship! BASTARDS!
1. Goat Banga (17:10 - Banga Bomb) Bobo Gomez

Spunk Pro - Dia De Los Muertos
Spunk Pro - Dia De Los Muertos (11.1.06) Spunk Pro Arena (1200 fans)
Spunk Pro thumbs its nose at Halloween, as instead it runs Dia De Lose Muertos from Spunk Pro Arena! While this card isn't as stacked as the usual Spunk Pro Arena card, it still features a very UNMODEST amount of awesomeness. Fans were treated to Strike Force and the Deviantz putting on an uncharacteristically good match. Pete Batfarti was wearing a mouthpiece with the Blimpie logo on it, and looked hazy in the ring, leading to Brad Wolf picking the big dude up and dropping him on his head. Judas X met with the monster 001, and walked away with his arm raised in victory, but not without help from Imago X. The Rock Bottom finished him off, as 002 sprinted to ringside to stop the beating that was following said victory. Imago gets laid out by a chokeslam from 001, while 002 tiger drivers Judas, then he eats a chokeslam and is dragged to the back on 001's shoulder.
Following up to the last show, Mr. T will be teaming up with Havok against the Hollywood team of Johnny Jett and Billy Hollywood. Much to everyone's surprise, Jett goes over Mr. T clean with the Idolizer (Superkick)! Havok was predisposed on the outside with Billy Hollywood and "Dangerous" Lou Hoffman, beating the ever-living shit out of both of them. Mr. T looks shattered after this, as Johnny Jett grabs a mic and screams at him, telling him his friends have all abandoned him, and now he is just a shell of his former self. He then makes a cryptic comment about Mr. T "coming clean" and telling everyone the "truth." No clue. This brings us to backstage, Jesus X is storming down the hall with Imago in toe, looking furious, when they stumble upon 001 and 002 with Judas. Judas is bound to the wall, a bloody mess, with a logo written on his chest in blood. Jesus and Imago pull 002 and 001 off of him, and a scuffle ensues, as 002 laughs and claims this wasn't them, it was "him." Jesus looks at him puzzled, only to be turned around by a dark figure, and have mist spit in his face before all hell breaks loose, and we do not get a good view of who it was.
The Spunk Pro Jr Championship was on the line next, as the newly crowned WWA Light Heavyweight Champion DEMOS takes on Wataru Araya, long time Spunk Pro Jr Champion in what was a fast-paced bout. Wataru fought hard, but OdZ at ringside was too much to overcome, as RUINER used his cast again to knock Wataru into a Pedigree -> SIDS Clutch for the 3! DEMOS is the new hero! DEMOS is a double champion! RUINER in the ring now as CHUCK holds Araya, he is going to clock him with the cast again -- WAIT! SHOGO OTSUKA! URAKEN ONTO RUINER'S ARM! Otsuka clears the ring out, except for DEMOS, who turns around with a belt in each fist and stares down Otsuka. They are right in each other's face, as DEMOS holds up his belts, Shogo goes for the uraken -- DEMOS ducks! DEMOS goes for the mist -- Shogo holds his hands in front of his face! Shogo lunges at him as DEMOS bails out of the ring, belts in hand, holding them up as he stares down the former champion. INTENSE. In the vein of intensity, Spunk and YUSUKE faced off in the biggest match so far in the WRESTLE WARS invasion, as Tommy and Jonas actually stepped into the ring, the former Silver Bullet Express, now calling themselves the Silver Screen Express had nowhere to run, but had their henchmen at ringside. The heat was molten for this, as the fans were all over the Wrestle Wars team's every move. Spunk scores the win by threatening to break Jonas's leg with a hiza juji, forcing him to tap out. This wasn't the end of this encounter, though, as Thomas had CUT!!s for all to go around, and the Wrestle Wars goons made it into the ring. The show ends with Thomas ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Fiero holding the Spunk Pro Heavyweight Championship up high, while Jonas grabs the Spunk Pro International Championship and holds that up, as the fans are littering the ring with garbage. BOO! HISSS!

10.26.06 - Spunk Pro HOUSE SHOW MANIA!
Spunk Pro - 10.26.06 - Mickey Stevens Sports Complex, Warwick, RI (433 fans)
Spunk Pro brings you another somewhat awesome house show! The Spunk Pro Jr Champ Wataru Araya had a tuneup match to prep for his upcoming title defense against DEMOS as he demolished El Portero (poor lil Messican). Lester Bourbon, sporting Hogan-esque tights and a 'Bourbonmania' shirt teamed with Bobo Gomez to go to a wild 45 minute draw with STRIKE FORCE. The Ministry took out the Machines when Judas used a Regal Stretch on 002, as Jesus X looked on quite pleased and taunted 001 afterwards. Mr. T came back with a vengeance as he fought Johnny Jett's Agent; Billy J. Hollywood, Esq in what turned out to be a great match. Mr. T looked more on form than he had been in months, as he KO's Hollywood with the BAD! After the match Johnny Jett attacked him from behind, with DANGEROUS Lou Hoffman helping him. When Billy came to he started as well, when out of NOWHERE (seriously guys, nowhere at all!) Havok hit the ring! Havok and Mr. T drove off Team Hollywood, then as a show of respect shook hands. Our main event saw the Spunk Pro team of Vio-Gun square off with the Wrestle Wars team of Biff Mongo and Red Coogan. Spunk took the big man down with a stiff lariat, in a measure of revenge from last week's TV show as we end this show on a high note, sending the fans home HAPPY.

10.24.06 - Spunk Pro House Show
Spunk Pro - 10.24.06 - Hartford Municipal Gymnasium (Hartford, CT -- 544 fans)
Spunk Pro ran a house show in CT tonight, which was quite an event. The fans were treated to a night of intense Spunk Pro action, as well as Sean Gabriel defending his WILD International Championship against the young upstart Ken Hunt. Hunt held out and Gabriel had to fight off 3 spears before he had to use a low blow and a cradle for the win. The VIOLENCE team picks up a huge win over the former tag champs the WTST, with Hobo Joe going down for the second time in the past few shows, and Spunk came out and challenged any of the Wrestle Wars goons to come out and face him, and a GOON he got in Biff Mongo. Biff's brawling slowed Spunk up a bit, but Spunk absolutely demolished him before using an uranage -> choke sleeper for the win.

2. OdZ (DEMOS/Power CHUCK/MAX(O)) (22:23 - MAX Facelock) Young Dragons (Wataru Araya/Travis Wilkes/Tom Johnson(X))

*Note; I've been extremely strapped for time. Excuse the brevity of this, but I just felt compelled to get something, anything up.*
Tonight was a huge night for Spunk Pro wrestling, making its New York City debut in a stuffy building that ROH runs in once in a while. A few fans passed out, citing lack of airflow because the building is a giant balloon, but we don't really care. Thomas Fiero and his lackey-bastards from the Wrestle Wars team were in the lobby passing out WRESTLE WARS memorabillia cups of water to help out the fans, attempting to win them over. Biff Mongo was running around trying to hype the fans up, and ended up looking like a fucking tool most of the time. It would be an understatement to say that most of these cups of water ended up on Mongo, Coogan and Kickass. Fiero grabbed a cameraman and said tonight he'd face the toughest man he could find in Spunk Pro, a champion, a true legend, and that he'd grace the Spunk Pro ring with his amazing prescence. Then some kid threw a cup at his head.
The first few matches went as advertised, proving to be tough contests and really keeping the fans energized and getting them to 'feel' the show. Can ya feel dat? Mr. T faced off with the thorn in his side; Johnny Jett, coming out alone. Bobo Gomez no longer swearing affiliation to him, and Lester nowhere to be found. Mr. T dominated Jett, with Jett only getting a few cheap shots in here and there, but Mr. T's overwhelming strength and emotion kept him firmly in charge. Mr. T finally was going for a powerbomb on the already ravaged Johnny Jett when Jett flipped over, and in a scene that reminded fans of Dante Black/Lord Vermin, Jett flipped over into a sunset flip, and after taking a tremendous beating scored the 1, 2, 3 on Mr. T! After the match, Jett had a run-in with Thomas R. Fiero (AKA -- THE RAT) backstage, with the Jet Girls on each arm, and Billy Hollywood following close behind, in a smart looking skirt/suit jacket ensemble. Yeah, I don't know.
Johnny Jett offered his hand to Fiero, and said he 'feels for him' and would love to 'do lunch' sometime. The Jet Girls were all over Fiero, who looked quite pleased at this, as Billy Hollywood, who introduced himself as "B. J. Hollywood, Esquire" offered a business card to Fiero. Jett expressed an interest in a 'joint project' between himself and Fiero, saying he thought VWA was 'cute' and would love to work on having Fiero produce his 'Untitled Johnny Jett Rock-U-Mentary' on his life and quest to being a heavyweight champion film star. Yeah, what? On the otherside of the arena, apparently Mr. T stormed out, dejected and rambling.
The Russians aren't coming, they are here! Supercomrade knocks out Hobo Joe to capture the Spunk Pro tag championship in what was a very surprising turn of events. What we got next, was a treat for fans of brawls as Paddy Baker defended his Mid-Continental Championship against his rival, Sean Gabriel. What we got was a sick, 20+ minute brawl, with Gabriel busting Baker open with a few sick headbutts mid-way through the match. After it became clear to both men the other wasn't going to go down easily, frustration began to grow. In their past encounters we've seen Gabriel already wrestling in the night, and then taking on a fresh Paddy Baker and losing in over 30 minutes in what was a classic in SECW. Then we saw Baker get knocked out of the ring with Gabriel getting a count out victory that he seemed less than pleased with. At the 23 minute point Gabriel dragged Baker to the outside, grinding his bloody head along the guard rail, then slugging him a few times in the forehead. The ref is counting as Gabriel has a Camel Clutch on Baker!! He is trying to wear Baker down and I guess forcibly get him counted out?! What is he thinking? Baker is biting Gabriel's hand! Gabriel is screaming out as he lets go, both men standing up as Baker is still biting! Gabriel with a thumb to the eye! He goes to whip Baker into the rail, Baker reverses with a drop toe hold that drops Gabriel throat-first onto the barrier! 17... 18... Baker up, and he dashes into the ring as Gabriel grasps for air.... 19... Gabriel jumps for the apron and is trying to claw himself in, as Baker is calling for him to come on... 20! Gabriel has been counted out!
A huge, heated 6-man tag is slated to be our main event -- Vio-Gun, YUSUKE, Shogo and Spunk facing off with the Wrestle Wars team of Captain Kickass, Red Coogan and Biff Mongo. The fans are all over the Wrestle Wars team, as the Spunk Pro team is fighting their hearts out. Wyatt McKidd and Thomas R. Fiero stuck their noses into the match, causing enough of a distraction to have Shogo get peppered with rights and lefts from Kickass and to set up the Kodiak Clutch for the tap out! The two teams didn't stop there, as they brawled about the arena, amidst the chaos, Fiero makes his way into the ring, and announces his opponent, a champion, a legend, a true warrior -- FPN Undisputed Champion, Dink... Dink!? What.. the.. This little fucking rat, does he think this is funny? GLASS BREAKS! Dink is out, bah gawd capri suns in hand as he is trying to break one open, and Mongo from behind with a hockey stick! He drags the 15 year old into the ring, and Fiero is just playing around with him as we call for the bell. Dink is fighting back with his childish redneck fury, but Fiero proving to be a foil to this! The 6 men are still brawling around ringside, as Fiero is shouting to Wyatt to make sure he is getting the "American Beauty shot" of Dink, whatever the hell that means! Tommy Fie-err.. Thomas fucking R. Fiero is mugging for the camera, he turns around -- STUNNER! STUNNER! BAH GAWD STUNNER! HE NAILS IT! BACK STYLE PIN! 1!!! 2!! 2.999!! Dink going up top for the w@nToN b@mBe!! Wyatt up on the apron, shaking the ropes as Fiero gets up, Dink is wobbly! YUSUKE with a kneel kick taking Wyatt down, but he hits the ropes! dink goes flying! FIERO CATCHES HIM WITH A FUCKING ACE CRUSHER IN MID AIR!! THE CUT!!! He makes a cocky cover! 1!!! 2!! 3!! FIERO JUST STOLE ONE! FIERO JUST STOLE A PIN ON A POOR, DEFENSELESS BOY! THIS IS PATHETIC! He is standing over him, foot on his chest as his camera crew focuses on him doing the "Titanic" pose on Dink's chest, as the arena around him has broke into absolute chaos!
...While we hate him, this ending is somewhat metaphoric! DAMN THIS PRETENTION TO HELL! THIS IS PRO-WRESTLING, NOT POST-MODERN FICTION!
